Brady Bowers Brady Bowers 6'1" | PG Rock Bridge | 2023 State MO (Missouri Elite): The 6’1 2023 point guard from Rock Bridge led his team to a pair of pool play victories with his perimeter shooting and overall floor game. He was one of the top 3-point shooters that I watched during the day. He does an excellent job of reading defenders as he can come off screens ready to shoot or he can operate the pick and roll very effectively. He also moves well without the ball and can score off sharp cuts.
Cameron Williams Cameron Williams 6'8" | PF Cape Girardeau Central | 2023 State MO (Gateway-Knights): The 6’7″ 240-pound 2023 forward was a force inside in the game that I watched him in the morning. He is a versatile big that likes to step out and shoot the perimeter shot and he has the skills to excel outside. But what I like is that he’s taking his big body inside, where he’s capable of imposing his will on the other team. He uses his size and strength to establish position and he can lean of people or jump over them for offensive rebounds.
Brady Wolf Brady Wolf 6'0" | PG Orchard Farm | 2023 State MO (Mo Thunder): A 6’0″ 2023 combo guard from Orchard Farm who had an impressive game in the morning session where he scored and set up teammates on a consistent basis. He’s always moving and he keeps the ball moving on offense. He was knocking down 3-pointers while also being able to attack off the dribble. He head is always up as he could spot open teammates for opportunities on offense.
Jalen Purvey Jalen Purvey 6'1" | CG Webster Groves | 2023 State MO (St Louis Cobras-ANM): A 6’1″ 2023 guard from Webster Groves who displayed an impressive offensive package in the afternoon game that I watched him. He was very capable of creating a shot whenever he wanted to. He had solid handles and the ability to get to his spots on the floor. His mid-range game is very effective and he could hit the open 3-pointer.
Quinn Sunderland Quinn Sunderland 6'10" | PF Lindbergh | 2024 State MO (Gateway): The 6’8″ 2024 forward from Lindbergh was the best rim protector that I watched during the day. He has the size, length and an excellent sense of timing to get his swats. He had a few impressive chase-down blocks and he did a nice job of tracking the ball and being the second man off the floor. He also controlled the defensive boards and could get out of his area to rebound.
Kyle Harris Kyle Harris 5'9" | PG Fort Zumwalt West | 2023 State MO (St. Louis Tigers): A 5’9″ 2023 point guard from Fort Zumwalt West who used his speed and quickness to break down defenders off the dribble and get into the lane. He could also change speeds to keep defenders off the balance. Once in the lane, he displayed a nice float game as well as the pull up jumper over taller defenders. If you give him too much room, he could make the 3-pointer.
Oscar Patterson (YAE): A 6’2″ 2026 wing guard who gave us a look into the future with his talent, athleticism and high basketball IQ. He is an explosive player in the open court who was disruptive at the top of his team’s full court press. He threw down dunks and had chase down blocks. He dropped some impressive dimes on the fast break while also knocking down a high-arching 3-point shot. He will be headed to Vashon in the fall.
