Most schools from Division I down to the small college level have essentially wrapped up their incoming Class of 2022 and have turned their focus to evaluating 2023 prospects. However, the transfer portal has changed the landscape of college basketball and caused plenty of ripple effects that are felt by high school prospects. There are schools at every level that experienced roster turnover all the way to the May 1st deadline and therefore are still actively searching to fill out their recruiting class. This has led to more prospects being available in the month of May than you would have previously seen.
Here at Prep Hoops Indiana we are going to begin a series highlighting those remaining unsigned prospects and hopefully help connect them with college programs that will meet their hopes and desires. After beginning with the point guard position, we will now move on to the top ten remaining shooting guards.
Britain Harris Britain Harris 6'3" | SG Bosco Institute | 2022 State IN (Bosco Institue 2022)
- Ranked #20 overall in Class of 2022
- Dynamic playmaker off of the dribble with a quick first step and the ability to finish at the rim. Can handle it well enough to be a primary ball handler when needed.
- Recently offered by Grand Valley State.
Brandon Rayzer-Moore Brandon Rayzer-Moore 6'5" | SG Jeffersonville | 2022 State IN (Jeffersonville H.S. 2022)
- Ranked #29 overall in Class of 2022
- 6’5″ shooter. Great catch-and-shoot ability on the perimeter and athletic enough to attack closeouts in a straight line.
- Scholarship level prospect.
Aidan Lambert Aidan Lambert 6'3" | SG Snider | 2022 State IN (Fort Wayne Snider H.S. 2022)
- Ranked #34 overall in Class of 2022
- Electric scorer. Had multiple 40+ and 50+ point outbursts between AAU and the high school season. Elite leaping ability. If you value pure scoring ability, Lambert is your guy.
- 20.5 points per game for a sectional championship team.
- Could be a plug-and-play scorer for a DII or NAIA program.
Jahni Summers Jahni Summers 6'5" | SG Evansville Harrison | 2022 State IN (Evansville Harrison H.S. 2022)
- Ranked #39 overall in Class of 2022
- Good size on the wing at 6’5″ with very good shooting ability. Plenty of length and athleticism.
- 18.1 points, 6.0 rebounds per game. 38-108 from 3-point range.
- Recently offered by Central State and Davis & Elkins.
James Smith James Smith 6'2" | SG Lawrence Central | 2022 State IN (Lawrence Central H.S. 2022)
- Ranked #67 overall in Class of 2022
- Missed on a lot of high school season after transferring to Lawrence Central from Crispus Attucks.
- Strong guard that drives it hard and can make open 3’s.
