CHSAA Athletic Scoring Wings

<p>Let’s take a look at some athletic scoring wings in the Chsaa. An athletic strong bodied player. His stride in the open floor is explosive. Fearless to the rim. A flat out scorer. Hard to stop when he’s gets momentum going.</p> <p><strong>Jaylen Lyn              6”2     2024     Mount St Michael</strong></p> <p>Has shown he has gotten quicker and stronger as the season wound down. You can see the difference in him in the spring events. Good handle and smooth going to the rim. Creative scorer.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1195618" first="Jakai" last="Sanders"]        6”4     2024      Loughlin</strong></p> <p>Will be a prominent name in these next two years. He already has turned heads. He is always in attack mode. Finishes strong at the rim through contact. Outstanding in transition. An extra bonus is, he seems to have a nose for the ball.</p> <p><strong>Christian Jeffery      6”2     2024      Loughlin</strong></p> <p>Another Loughlin Lion. The future is bright. Christian has outstanding leadership qualities. He is a heady guard with tremendous vision. Has excellent elevation on his pull up jumper. Extremely quick first step that leads into a floater or a stop on the dime pull up.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1220413" first="Devin" last="Vanterpool"]     6”3        2023        Christ the King</strong></p> <p>The son of Brooklyn Net  assistant coach. Devin came to Queens from Minnesota and quickly established himself has a top player in the tough CHSSA.  Can score in multiple ways. A very smooth jumper. The same mechanics from deep or a 14 foot pull up. Has great lift and follow through on his shot. A real nice shot fake gets defenders off their feet and then he either gets to the rim or drains the shot off the bounce.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1204881" first="Spencer" last="Mahoney"].      6”8.      2023.       Xaverian</strong></p> <p>Versatility is the key to Spencer’s enormous talent. Can step out and shoot it. Has a very smooth stroke. Long athletic body with a excellent skill set gets him to the rim.</p>
