Quinn Burns Quinn Burns 5'9" | PG Westosha Central | 2024 State WI — World Hoops Elite — 2024
Burns is a really fun prospect to watch. He is a tremendous offensive player who can do it all with the ball in his hands. The point guard is a threat from long range, as he won’t miss too many open shots. He is also a talented passer and slasher. On multiple occasions, Burns was able to drive into the lane and then use his court vision to locate open teammates. Keep an eye out for Burns going forward.
Reece Carson — OSA Crusaders — 2025
Playing for a very good OSA Crusaders team, I thought that Carson did some really positive things this past weekend. The number one thing that stood out to me was Carson’s efficiency. He takes good shots and makes most of them. He doesn’t just throw up low percentage shots to say that he got a shot up. Even though he is young, Carson plays with a very high basketball IQ.
Myles Thomsen Myles Thomsen 6'2" | SG Spring Lake Park | 2024 State MN — Northstar Titans — 2024
Thomsen was one of the best slashers that laced up his shoes in Nebraska. When he wanted to drive to the rim and get a layup, there were not many defenders that had success staying in front of him. He is super shifty and very fast in the open court. I liked how the shooting guard was able to get difficult layups to fall. He has a handful of effective moves he can use to avoid opposing shot-blockers.
Micah Strand — Northstar Titans — 2024
Strand was on fire all weekend. Seeing a prospect have a good shooting game, or even day isn’t all that uncommon. But Strand had a great shooting weekend. It seemed like every time the guard got a three up it went in. I was very impressed with his off ball movement. Strand was never stagnant. He was always trying to shake his defender and get loose for a three.
Tashaun Donaldson — Team Iowa — 2023
Donaldson is a very consistent scorer who is willing to take whatever the defense gives him. Playing for Team Iowa this past weekend, I really liked how the guard never pushed too much. He did a nice job of finding balance between getting his own shots while still passing to open teammates. Donaldson was really impressive this weekend and he is a guard I would keep an eye on.
Carmello Mcneal Carmello Mcneal 6'3" | PG Tca | 2022 State MN — Minnesota Chill– 2022
Helping lead Minnesota Chill to a 4-0 record on the weekend, I thought that McNeal was phenomenal. The guard is a very good athlete who is able to use his physical gifts to succeed on both ends of the court. On defense, he was able to force turnovers and make opposing players take tough shots. On offense, he finished at the rim and passed well.
Carrington Mcneal Carrington Mcneal 6'3" | PG Tca | 2022 State MN — Minnesota Chill — 2022
I loved McNeal’s shot making ability. The Minnesota Chill guard was able to convert on some really difficult shots this past weekend. He finished layups through contact and made some mid-range jumpers with defenders right in his face. I also liked McNeal’s quickness and athleticism as an on-ball defender. College programs still searching for a 2022 guard should certainly take a look at McNeal.
