They each posses some next level ability and are just looking for an opportunity to prove themselves. With a lot of schools looking to fill rosters these players could be welcomed additions on a roster next season.
6’4 G Alex Howard Alex Howard 6'2" | SF Ogden | 2022 State UT || Ogden High School || 2022 ||
Alex had himself a relatively quiet year and maybe that is because he plays at a school up North but he sure did produce for his team as he averaged 13 and 6 a game which is solid. Alex has some positional size that allows him to be all over the floor and defend multiple positions. Alex rebounds at a high level and he shoots the ball at a high percentage. Great size and motor and he has room to grown and develop at the next level. On defense he is active and he runs the floor well. He knows when to rim run and when to stay out on the perimeter.
6’4 G Manuel Coronado || Wasatch Academy || 2022 ||
Manuel is an under the radar prospect that has been playing against some high level teams. Not to mention who he would have to go up against in practice. Manuel has a 37’5 inch vert that he can display when he attacks the rim. He finishes through contact and often times he is the one creating it. He has a quick first step and he takes advantage of hard closeouts because he can shoot the ball. This kid is low risk and high reward, especially if a small school could nab him, he could make an impact immediately.
6’3 G Brock Williams Brock Williams 6'2" | SG Syracuse | 2022 State UT || Syracuse High School || 2022 ||
Brock is a bucket. He averaged 15, 4 and 3 at the high school level and there were games where he was unreal. The kid had a 38 ball this past high school season but he could really clean up the glass on both ends. Brock is nice coming off of screens and he uses his elite footwork to get shots off quickly. Off the bounce he has a good shot and high release. When he has to handle the ball he is quick and he has length and speed to get by defenders and all the way to the rim. This dude can shoot and if you need someone to stretch the floor Brock would be a good find. On the other side of the ball he competes, he is a willing defender that moves his feet and has active hands.
6’2 PG Brantyn Van Dyke Brantyn Van Dyke 6'3" | CG Mountain Ridge | 2022 State UT || Mountain Ridge High School || 2022 ||
Brantyn is a smooth guard that can play on and off the ball. It all starts with defense with this kid as he is active with his hands and feet, he moves well and steps in lanes. Brantyn turns defense into offense. Off the bounce he has a nice mid-range pull-up and he relocates really well finding pockets in the defense and he is always ready to shoot the rock. He is a must guard out beyond the arc which opens up driving lanes for him when he catches and rips to the basket. He is starting to get attention but he is still available.
