Here are the bottom half of the new additions:
Logan Sullivan Logan Sullivan 6'3" | SG Eudora | 2024 State KS , 6-foot-2 shooting guard, 2024, Eudora, MoKan: A really long and athletic guard with shooting prowess from the perimeter. Helped lead a really good Eudora team and was the perimeter threat and knockdown shooter for them. Really good mover without the basketball and stays shot ready, shoots it at a high level both off the move and stationary. Can attack hard closeouts and use his length to finish over help.
Zac Evans Zac Evans 6'0" | CG Valley Falls | 2024 State KS , 6-foot combo guard, 2024, Valley Falls: Has one of the highest motors amongst all of the new additions to the 2024 class. Evans had a big time run through sub state and the state tournament that was capped with a 27 point performance in the quarterfinal. Evans has elite speed on the basketball court both with and without the ball and makes a killing in transition and scoring the basketball in the paint.
Jonathan Hamel Jonathan Hamel 5'9" | CG Osborne | 2024 State KS , 5-foot-9 point guard, Osborne: Hamel lead his team in scoring at 14.5 points, adding 5 rebounds and 3.5 assists a game this season and packs a lot of punch in his shorter frame. Really can handle the ball, maneuver in traffic, and get to his spot on the floor. Hamel is a nice playmaker for his teammates after breaking defenses down and flies around to the glass.
Willie Dorsey Willie Dorsey 6'2" | SG Wellsville | 2024 State KS , 6-foot-2 shooting guard, Wellsville, KC Red Storm: A hard nosed and high energy wing player who much like his older brother, can really shoot the ball. Has a really quick trigger and nice release point where closeouts don’t affect him much and can get it off in tight windows. Is a big time shot maker especially in big moments and he has shown it this spring.
Logan Burnett Logan Burnett 6'0" | CG Olathe Northwest | 2024 State KS , 6-foot combo guard, Olathe NW, SSA Elite 2024 Black: A guy to keep a name on next high school season after putting together a really solid spring and should have a big summer session. Burnett is a really tough defender on the ball, has a really high IQ, and is a microwave scorer from the perimeter. He is very deliberate with the ball in his hands and doesn’t waste many dribbles, and has a smooth jump shot off the bounce.
Sam Kemp Sam Kemp 6'3" | SG Maize South | 2024 State KS , 6-foot 3 guard, Valley Center (Pictured): A nice combo guard with skills to play both guard spots. Very active defender and pusher of the basketball in transition, understands and operates in the drive and kick game really well. The lefty is a knock down three point shooter with solid size on the perimeter. Gets his feet set in a hurry and ready to knock down shots.
Gavin Harvey Gavin Harvey 5'10" | PG Blue Valley West | 2024 State KS , 5-foot-10 point guard, Blue Valley West, MoKan: Another hard nosed point guard who’s very knowledgeable of the game. Gets downhill and creates off the bounce either through the pass or scoring it and Harvey can step in to an open look and knock down the 3 ball. Harvey should play a big role in Blue Valley West’s success next season as he looks to take on a larger role.
