Cedric Major 5’10 2024 PG of Mountain House HS, Lakeshow 16 Cameron.
Major is a two sport athlete (Football). He has good strength in his lower body. He’s a hard playing guard with good foot speed. He has good lateral movement to hound ball handlers regularly. He takes it hard and strong to the basket, while playing off two feet when he gets there. He doesn’t mind the contact. Major has solid handles, and passes well. He’s a capable guard up top, and in the open court.
Quentin Thompson Quentin Thompson 6'5" | SF Lincoln | 2024 State CA-N 6’2 2024 SG of Tokay HS, WCE 16U Delmartini.
Thompson’s a good shooting guard with form at the mid-range all the way out past the 3-pt line. He’s a good court runner who can finish strong in transition. He does a good job handling the ball on the perimeter with good vision and passing. He’s aggressive looking to pull-up off the dribble in transition for mid-range jumpers. He’ll put up 3’s when he’s open. He’s capable of getting into a good shooting rhythm.
Steve Emeneke 6’9 2024 F/C of Woodside Priory HS, Oakland Soldiers EYBL 16.
He’s a long armed active player in the post. He’s still a bit on the raw side, but he does have a good upside to grow his game. He has post presence, he’ll make you change your shots when you come into the paint. He has improving footwork in the post, but does okay working from the free throw area and in using one dribble to get to the front of the rim. He’ll have to beef up a bit, and get more physical in the paint.
Tzahari Trevino Tzahari Trevino 6'4" | CG Valley Christian | 2024 State CA-N 6’2 2024 CG of Valley Christian HS, Oakland Soldiers 16U EYBL.
A combo guard with a good set of guard skills. He’s a solid ball handler with the size and strength to create his own shot from different areas. He has a nice drive spin move with balance to hit the paint jumper. He’ll spot up for 3’s in the corner. He has good foot speed to defend on the perimeter, and good strength to guard bigger players, he’ll help with the rebounding.
Quincy Lavender 6’4 2024 W/G of Hayward HS, Lakeshow 15 Boyd.
A long slender player who works well in the open court, finishing in transition, and pushing and passing the ball in up. He has good length and a quick jump for rebounds, and scoring off two feet inside. He has length and footspeed to trap up top and close out on shooters. He’s on the Wright’s Watch List.
Ben Dotten 6’5 2024 SF/W of Santa Cruz HS, Arsenal 16.
Dotten has been steadily improving this Spring. He brings good length and hustle going after rebounds and defending. He runs the court in transition. He’s not scoring a bunch, but he does look for his shot at the high post and in the short corners. He’s had some success putting it on the floor and getting to the basket. He’s has good vision and passing. He’s on the Wright’s Watch List.
