Today we take a look at some of the new additions to the rankings from our bigger schools in the state.
49 Kaeson Fisher-Brown Kaeson Fisher-Brown 6'2" | SG Derby | 2023 State KS , 6-foot-2 Guard, Derby: One of the best pure scorers to join our rankings this time around, Fisher-Brown is a rising star in the state of Kansas who will continue to make jumps in the rankings as the efficiency and role continues to grow with his high school program. Really lights it up from the perimeter with a silky smooth jump shot and thrives against contests of hard closeouts as he is still able to knock down really tough jumpers. Fisher-Brown has had a really solid spring playing with a couple AAU programs and has really made a name for himself scoring the rock. Has good size and defensive ability as well from the guard spot.
57 Harrison Kisling Harrison Kisling 6'2" | SG Olathe West | 2023 State KS , 6-foot-2 Guard, 2023, Olathe West (PICTURED): A really long guard with a absolute cannon from the perimeter. Really smooth handle with the ball and really smooth jump shot. Helped Olathe West have a really good season and make a run at it and has been rolling from the perimeter with Phenom Hoops this spring, putting up absolutely insane 3 point make numbers with efficiency. Continues to get better at becoming a creator off the dribble for his teammates and creating a counter to his elite shooting.
84 Pierce Ross Pierce Ross 6'3" | SG Shawnee Mission West | 2023 State KS , 6-foot-3, Shawnee Mission West: A super athletic guard who had a really solid season for a West team that didn’t have the overall results that they were looking for. However, Ross kept them in a ton of games puting the ball in the basket from different areas of the floor. Really springy guard in transition who plays with a ton of bounce and energy in his game. Can knock down the long ball and once he gets in a rhythm and rolling he is a really tough guard to keep in front of. Playing with Denmon this spring he has showcased his instinct and length on the defensive end as well leading to some highlight transition plays on his part.
85 Matthew Lierz Matthew Lierz 6'1" | CG Holton | 2023 State KS , 6-foot-1 Guard, 2023, Holton: Lierz was a 4A 2nd team, Sports in Kansas member after a really strong season leading a scrappy and veteran savvy. Lierz makes a ton of winning plays, always having a knack to grab a big offensive rebound, getting a big late game steal, or hitting gam clinching shots. Has been one of the more clutch players in the Big 7 the last two seasons scoring in the fourth quarter as well. Lierz is an absolute gamer and a Big 7 PoY candidate heading into next season.

99 Aron Davis Aron Davis 6'4" | PF Seaman | 2023 State KS 6-foot-4 Forward, 2023, Seaman: Him returning in the middle of the season could be seen as one of the catalysts for what would become the 5A state champs. His length, activity, and athleticism from the forward spot was what the Vikings were missing midway through the season and Davis gave them all of that. A good shot blocker, finisher inside, has some guard skill when asked upon to create from the perimeter, and can knock down open looks from the field.
