Continue ReadingAs we move forward the Prep Hoops Pennsylvania Top 20 All-Stars have been organized for the WPIAL 2A classification of Section 2 from the high school hoop season. We took a good amount of time to evaluate the players for their selection to the top twenty list in no particular order. Over the years this section has been one of the most competitive sections not only in Western PA but in the entire state.
CLASS 2A – SECTION 2
TOP 20 ALL-STARS:
Corey Simmons Corey Simmons 6'1" | CG Sto-Rox | 2022 State PA , Sto-Rox HS
- An above-average balanced scorer with the ability to take over games especially during critical moments
Josh Jenkins Josh Jenkins 6'3" | SF Sto-Rox | 2023 State PA , Sto-Rox HS
- This athletic performer likes to get out of transition and finish at the rim with thunderous slam dunks
Khalil Kerr Khalil Kerr 6'0" | PG Carlynton | 2022 State PA , Carlynton HS
- His offensive skillset includes being able to knock down the deep three and hit the mid-range jumper
Jackson LaRocka Jackson LaRocka 6'1" | CG Burgettstown | 2022 State PA , Burgettstown HS
- He is talented enough to score in a variety of ways in the half-court set whether coming off screens or moving well without the ball
Jaymont Green-Miller, Sto-Rox HS
- A high flyer who plays excellent defense and creates problems for his opponents every night as he protects the basket
Stephen Goetz Stephen Goetz 5'9" | SG Northgate | 2024 State PA , Northgate HS
- An overall consistent shooter from the perimeter and on creative drives in the lane he can finish strong against his opponents
Dre’von Miller-Ross HS
- He is a strong player on the defensive end but can fill up the shat sheet quickly on offense as well
Dylan Rogers, Fort Cherry HS
- His ability to play tough on both ends of the floor makes him a standout player for his squad on a consistent basis during the high school season
Marcus Thomas, Sto-Rox HS
- A high-level defender that gets quality deflections and steals during a contest with the talent to look ahead to his open teammates

- This young man has the talent to score in the post, from the wing, and on drives in the lane
Owen Norman, Fort Cherry HS
- A fundamental, high basketball IQ performer that is a leader for his team throughout four quarters

- His rebounding skill and shooting ability make him a balanced force on both ends of the court
Caleb Russell Caleb Russell 6'2" | SG Burgettstown | 2023 State PA , Burgettstown HS
- An above-average shooter from the three point line and the free throw line
Austin Milliner Austin Milliner 5'11" | PG Carlynton | 2023 State PA , Carlynton HS
- He likes to push the ball in transition and finish in the paint with creative dribble moves against his opponents

- His ball-handling skills and precision passing help lead his team during offensive possessions
