Here are some names that if you don’t already know you will get to know them real soon.
6’7 F Chamberlain Burgess Chamberlain Burgess 6'9" | PF Lone Peak | 2025 State #214 Nation UT || Lone Peak || Utah Prospects || 2025 ||
This kid is going to be one of those players that will have continual development as he matures physically and as his game matures as well. He is currently best when he keeps it simple. He rebounds, blocks shots, contest buckets and hits open jumpers. Chamberlain can clean up stuff near the rim, in time he will add dimensions to his game. Chamberlain will likely be a 6’10 kid at some point with some height in his genes and he will be a formidable big with skills. Lone Peak has some good young players that should see the floor next season.
6’7 F Kai Wesley Kai Wesley 6'8" | PF Orem | 2026 State UT || Vegas Elite || 2026 ||
Not sure if Kai has decided what high school he will attend. We are for certain that he will attend a school where they do not mind him playing baseball and basketball. With Kai being one of those elite dual-sport athletes he should be a household name immediately. Kai has size and athleticism, he could really flourish in a system that switches 1-5 as he can hold his own against all 5 positions. Kai has a nice little bag in that mid-post game and he defends well down their. Perimeter game is nice too. Will be a continual developer but he has a nice game now.
6’7 PF Jamyn Sondrup Jamyn Sondrup 6'10" | C Springville | 2026 State UT || 801 Elite/ Utah Stars || 2026 ||
We have been anticipating this kid play up at the high school level for sometime and here he is playing up with the Utah Stars in that UA Rise Circuit they’re in and he has been really agile moving his feet and he has been holding his own against other 2026 kids that rank in the top of that class. He is rumored to also be going to Springville but we will soon find out where he will enroll. This kid could see minutes at the varsity level as he should almost at any school he lands at.
6’8 F Jaxon Johnson Jaxon Johnson 6'8" | SF Alta | 2024 State #106 Nation UT || Alta || Utah Prospects || 2024 ||
Jaxon is that ideal next level wing that can stretch the floor. He is agile while defending and he can hurt you in the post or the perimeter. Jaxon is an inside/outside threat that finds pockets in the defense that allow him to be effective. The defensive side of the ball has really taken shape this Spring. Look for Jaxon to really pick up his recruiting. He is a young talent that has next.
6’9 Malick Diallo Malick Diallo 6'9" | C Wasatch Academy | 2024 State #131 Nation UT || Juan Diego || Utah Stars || 2024 ||
Another Mali Pipeline kid in Utah getting looks from the local schools and beyond. With one at BYU and another now at Utah maybe Malick ends up at the other few local schools as the Mali Boys are showing off their talents here in the beehive state. Malick dominates as his footwork continues to improve inside. he can also step out and stretch the floor a bit. Low risk high reward with this kid.
