They faced stiff competition between teams all over the country in front of college coaches of all levels. It was hard to grab the top two guys at each position, but here is the Passion Region all-tournament team regardless of age group.
1st Team
Javon Alexander Alabama Celtics 15
Alexander was the engine of a potent Alabama Celtics 15U offense. He can collapse defenses with his speed and shifty play. It allowed him to be one of the best playmakers in the region making highlight-reel passes to the tune of 6 assists a game. The 2025 prospect is adept at knocking down shots off the dribble, including pull up threes and floaters.
Mardrecus Moreland Jr Mardrecus Moreland Jr 6'0" | PG TSF Prep Highschool | 2023 AL . Alabama Celtics 17
Moreland is a creator. His quickness and handle are coupled to make one of the most dangerous playmaking tools of the entire weekend. He makes slick live dribble passes, can create space for shots, and bends defenses. The most important part of his game is his impact on defense. He had some of the best hands in the gym striping ball handler after ball handler and taking it to the house for transition scores. Moreland stepped up to take charges as well.
Anquan Boldin Jr Ball4lyfe
Boldin’s top tier athleticism is undeniable. He explosively gets about the rim, allowing for big time plays in the paint. He’s strong enough to finish through contact, but it’s his body control that allows him to extend plays mid-air. His beastly athletic feats make him a force on the defensive end, whether that’s blocking shots or invading passing lanes.
Trey’Dez Green Trey’Dez Green 6'8" | PF Zachary | 2024 State #54 Nation LA LA Broncos
Green is making it clear he’s one of the best two sport athletes in the class of 2024. He spent the weekend around the rim showcasing explosive athleticism. His physicality in the post rivaled his touch when shooting out of the block. Green can handle the ball on the break, rebound bigger than his 6’7 frame would suggest, and has a nice looking stroke from the free throw line that could point to extended range down the road.
Domas Kauzonas Atlanta Timberwolves
Kauzonas averaged around 10.5 ppg as a presence in the paint for the Timberwolves. He’s a big man with a strong frame at 6-foot-10 that he utilized well to show off his crisp, back to the basket moves and showed his ability to fly around the ball defensively as a rim protector. Finished with 12 points in their final game against the Florida Suns.
2nd Team
Luke Flynn Luke Flynn 6'2" | PG Walton | 2024 State GA Atlanta Timberwolves
The 2024 prospect held his own as the starting point guard on a 17U squad. He’s a vocal leader that sets the table for his teammates.
Ikponmwosa Alohan Alabama Celtics 15
Alohan has a bright future in the game. He’s a gifted athlete that can knock down shots from deep and make plays.
Joseph Lezeau II FL Suns
The long 6’6 swingman can score out of drives. His length and athleticism make him a switchable defender.
Decedric Webb Decedric Webb 6'5" | SF Huntington | 2023 State LA OWE-RW3
Webb lived at the rim, rebounded, and had a monster 39 point performance to stamp his weekend. There’s something about the athleticism in Louisiana.
Hasani Rivera Hasani Rivera 6'9" | PF Orlando Christian Prep | 2023 State FL FL Suns
Rivera flashes skills every 6’9 big man needs. He can make shots beyond the arc, bang in the post, and make moves off the dribble.
