Sirraj Ali (Colorado Chaos 2025 5’9″) – Want to watch a guard light it up all game? Look no further than Ali! He came into Kansas City on a mission and went off for 44 points in his first game at Van Horn High School! They fell short against the Texas impact 2025 team but Sirraj left it all out on the court. Ali game is very smooth and he has a nice pace to his game. He doesn’t get sped up no matter what type of defense you throw out there at him. He has an extremely high IQ on both ends of the floor being able to to get to his spots while also getting his teammates in scoring situations. Sirraj loves to shoot the 3 as he should, the smooth stroke and high arch he puts on it makes him very consistent from behind the arch.
Chandler Craig (Team Clutch 2025 5’9″) – Craig is what I call the leader for this clutch team. He keeps the ball in his hands when it’s crunch time so he can make the big plays. Loves to guard the other teams best players especially in the big moments. Has a humbling attitude when he plays, when calls aren’t going his teams way he calms the crowd and his team down and has them thinking “next play” you love this from a kid. Craig does a good job of finishing around the rim in traffic especially in transition. Does a good job of getting to his spots around that elbow and pulls up for the mid range. Chandler loves to attack the defense and finish it, then turns right around to defend, he has a lot of heart and that’s something you can’t teach.
Darren McClendon (Next Generation Academy 2025 6’4″) – Darren has great size and athleticism. He uses it to his advantage on a consistent basis with trying to block shots and out jumping people on rebounds and lay ups. He does a little bit of everything on the floor and is very aggressive for his academy team. When he gets the ball on the perimeter he’s looking to beat people off the bounce and go right up to the rim meeting whoever there. Serves at Next Generation Academy rim protector when he’s in the paint.
Omar Kaba (Minnesota Heat 2025 6’6″) – Omar has great size and a long wingspan. As he is still figuring out his body, he has been showcasing that he will do it all for his Minnesota team. From jumping the 3, putting it on the floor, posting up, he does it all and if he keeps this up there’s no telling what he will become. Aggressive on the defensive end with protecting the paint and having active hands. Just moving to Minnesota not too long ago, not many people know about him yet but this is one that you will want to take notice about.
Tony Jefferies (Spencer Cougars 6’3″) – Tony was a big reason for his team success this past weekend in the live period at Van Horn High School. With his vocal leadership on the defensive end playing in that 1-2-2 zone, to his ability to get out and run in transition before anyone else get back to finish at the rim, there’s a lot Jeffries can contribute to a game. He loves the shoot the corner 3 ball when its given to him and he shoots it with confidence, this sparks a fire in his cougar team that helps them get on a run.
