Evan Anderson Evan Anderson 6'3" | SG Black River Falls | 2024 State WI – 2024 – SG – Wisconsin Playmakers UA Rise
It’s competitive in the teens and 20’s in the 2024 rankings. That said, not sure Anderson moves up a ton yet after this weekend, but I definitely think of him in a different light. Early on, saw him more as this scrappy, blue collar scorer — and he is to some degree, but there’s a lot more to this 6-foot-4 shooting guard. Anderson scored off-balance really well around the rim or even in the mid-range. He’s got a great spin move in traffic and excellent touch on his floater. A sneaky athlete, Anderson can play above the rim and also has the explosiveness to rip past his defender.

Termarion Brumby Termarion Brumby 6'1" | CG Racine Case | 2024 State WI – 2024 – G – Wisconsin Playground Club
Brumby’s stock just continues to go up. Playing with his new team, Brumby definitely didn’t take a back seat, despite trying to mesh with an influx of talent from what he’s used to. Brumby impacted a lot of games on the defensive end for PGC, picking up 94 feet and creating havoc/causing turnovers. Offensively, Brumby is a strong, shifty guard that gets downhill and plays through contact. Brumby has quietly been getting better and better and he could be on his way to a top 30 spot in the next rankings.
Chris Djurasovic Chris Djurasovic 6'8" | PF Homestead | 2023 State WI – 2023 – PF – Chapman Basketball Academy
Didn’t write about him over the weekend, but saw a lot of positive things from Djurasovic. Have known for a while that he’s likely going to be a late bloomer, whether it’s his senior year of high school or at the next level, but each time I see Djurasovic, it feels like he’s on the right trajectory. A mobile, athletic, and strong post prospect, Djurasovic is starting to take his game more to the perimeter. Early in his career, he was kind of a guy that had to rely on dribble penetration or offensive rebounding to score. Now, he’s starting to initiate his own offense, whether it’s demanding the ball on the block, taking his man off the dribble, or running the floor in transition. If he can be consistent, Djurasovic is a top 25 prospect in the 2023 class.
Drew Daoust Drew Daoust 6'1" | PG Southern Door | 2025 State WI – 2025 – G – Wisconsin Crusaders
Only saw Doust once over the weekend, but it was enough. In a high-level game against Wisconsin PGC, Daoust was one of the top 2-3 players on the floor. Daoust plays at his own pace. He faced fullcourt pressure the entire game and was never fazed. When his team needed a bucket, Daoust used his assassin-like scoring ability to create something positive and knocked down a tough step-back jumper in crunch time that looked like it might lift the Crusaders to a win. Very good instincts on both ends of the floor. Daoust always seemed to be in the right place at the right time defensively and made the right play offensively.
Sam Mickelson Sam Mickelson 6'7" | PF Madison Memorial | 2024 State WI – 2024 – F – Team FVV
Think Mickelson is just going to continue to rise in the rankings over the next two years. Feels like a solid Division 2 prospect right now with Division 1 potential. Playing in AAU, you get a better sense of what Mickelson is capable of when there’s less structure and he’s surrounded by an uptempo team. Mickelson is more of a combo forward than I thought. Madison Memorial uses him a lot as a back-to-the-basket threat and a jump shooter, but Mickelson can definitely pull bigs away from the rim and create a shot off the bounce. The 6-foot-7 forward is also a better athlete than I had anticipated, able to really explode off the ground quickly, especially when he catches in traffic or needs to protect the rim.
Nolan Minesalle – 2024 – SF – Chapman Basketball Academy
Arguably no prospect had a better weekend than Minesalle. The Marquette product could be severely under ranked right now and he’s still quite a ways away from his ceiling. The 6-foot-5 wing is a lanky, plus-athlete that does a lot of different things on the floor. Minesalle can space the floor as a shooter, slash to the bucket, play the passing lanes, defend multiple positions, and hits the offensive glass as hard as any prospect we saw. Add in some freakishly long arms and his effortless bounce, Minesalle is one of the more intriguing prospects in the sophomore class.

Carson Pendleton Carson Pendleton 6'2" | PG Kimberly | 2024 WI – 2024 – G/W – Team 1848
Pendleton had a consistently strong weekend from what we saw. Kimberly tends to stockpile a lot of talent, so don’t dismiss Pendleton just because he wasn’t a regular varsity performer last year. The 6-foot-3 sophomore plays with a chip on his shoulder and made some big baskets in tightly contested games. Not exactly sure what Pendleton is from a positional standpoint, but know he can impact a game in a lot of ways. Pendleton has kind of a point-wing role at times, but you’ll also see him battle under the rim on both ends. His best attribute right now, aside from positional versatility, might be his ability to get coast-to-coast with the basketball.
Sawyer Schipper Sawyer Schipper 6'1" | SG Stoughton | 2024 State WI – 2024 – SG – Wisconsin Academy
Schipper was a watch list guy on the rankings after we saw him play well for Stoughton during the high school season. Think it’s safe to say he falls somewhere in the top 100 at this point. His brother plays tailback at Wisconsin and you can see some of that athletic ability in Schipper. A real blue collar prospect that leaves it all on the floor, there’s no job too big or too small for Schipper. Definitely get the sense that he’s not enamored with how many points he scores, but can definitely still get his on the offensive end.
Prentice Young Prentice Young 6'4" | CG Wisconsin Lutheran | 2023 State #273 Nation WI – 2023 – G – Wisconsin Playground Club
Good to see Young come back strong after the torn ACL last spring. He wasn’t anywhere near 100 percent when the season started. Think Young is still not fully back to his old self, but he still managed to have one of the better weekends in the 17U division. The biggest thing you saw was Young’s defensive effort and how his teammates fell in line. There are a couple of new faces with PGC, but there was just a different culture and mindset on that end of the floor and it was Young who sparked that. Young has some of the best two-way ability in the state. He gets a lot of his offense from his defense. One thing we liked about Young early in his career with the positional versatility at 6-foot-4. He came up as a point guard. Whether or not he still has the explosiveness in that knee to change directions on the ball or defend smaller, quicker guys is TBD, but Young did appear to play well off the ball and is starting to shoot it better, which will pay dividends should he need to transition.
