Commitment: Marist D1
Can handle the ball in the open court. Can stretch the floor with his shooting but also drives it well. Has done a lot of winning in high school. Marist hopes he brings that winning edge to their program. This is a great get for the Marist program.
Latiek Briscoe Latiek Briscoe 6'2" | PF St Francis Prep | 2022 State NY . 6”2. St Francis Prep
Comittment: St Rose. D2
Has D1 skill set. But is a major get for this good D2 program. This is also the right decision for the young man. Can flat out score the ball. Has a smooth jumper. Excellent lift on his shot. Should be a major player in a very good league.
Jayden Pierre Jayden Pierre 6'2" | PG Long Island Lutheran | 2022 State #109 Nation NY . 6”1. Long Island Lutheran
Commitment: Providence D1
Following in the foot steps of Andre Curbello and Rafael Andres Pinzon in playing high major college ball. Coach Cooley can coach scoring guards and Jayden can score as well as anybody in New York. He is a playmaker. Has a very high skill set. Could be a star in the big East from the first time he steps on the court. Friar fans will love this player.
Samuel Gibbs Samuel Gibbs 6'3" | PG Stepinac | 2022 State #196 Nation NY . 6”3. Isiah Alexander. 6”7. Stepinac
Commitment: Loyola Md. D1
One stop shopping by the Loyola Md program. They came to New Rochelle and they walked away with all CHSAA first team league selection Samuel Gibbs Samuel Gibbs 6'3" | PG Stepinac | 2022 State #196 Nation NY and second team selection Isiah Alexander throw in the fact Stepinac is a perennial State contender. Add to that If you watched Unc or Duke this year you were probably impressed with former players RJ Davis and A J Griffin. Sam is a heady high skill set Combo guard. He plays the point with crisp passes, a smooth handle and a scorers mentality. A coach on the floor will quickly fit in and be a team leader. A perfect spot for this talented guard. Isiah Alexander athleticism will be a big plus in the Patriot league. Isiah does it multiple ways offensively either shooting it or getting to the rim. But defensively he uses his length to alter shots or get defections. He can turn defense into offense and score explosively on the break.

This is a real good get for the D2 program. At the same time Nick made the right choice as well. A really good program ranked seventh in the Atlantic region in a outstanding competitive league. The mountain cats were 21-9 this past season. Nick gives them a inside presence. He has excellent footwork in the post. Strong in gaining position and holding it. Nick is capable of stepping out and stretching the floor as well.

Matt Hanley Matt Hanley 6'6" | PF Monsignor Farrell | 2022 State NY 6”5 Monsignor Farrell
Commitment: Scranton University D3
Matt has improved his game every year in high school. A high ceiling for this player at this level. Expect him to be a very good rotation piece in his first year and to get to starting five status and a top player in the league soon after. Excellent in pick and roll sets. Has improved his perimeter game as well. Has added the pick and pop to his arsenal.
Matthew Mahoney 6”2 Long Island Lutheran
Commitment: Dickenson College D3
If you just look at stats Matthew might not entice you. But when you look at the talent on his team you realize that he knows and plays his role. With at least 6 future high D 1 players on the roster. I was at a few of their practices and he stood out as a strong bodied guard. Very active and quick to the rim. Strong with the ball. If you practice every day against some of the top talent in the state a D3 program is fortunate to get this type of player. Plus add in the winning Matthew has experienced it’s a win -win .
Justin Turner Justin Turner 6'0" | CG Eastport South Manor | 2022 State NY 6”0. Eastport South Manor
Commitment: St Joseph’s University- Long Island D3
St Joseph’s will now be known as university instead of college. They have had 2 really good recruiting classes in the last two years with their new staff. Justin could very well make it another strong recruiting year for the Golden Eagles. One of the top scorers on Long Island. Justin can shoot the three or get to the hoop. Excellent skill set. Just a solid all around game. Can play either guard spot. A really nice get for the up and coming local program.
Mike Welton Mike Welton 6'4" | SF St.John the Baptist | 2022 State NY 6”4 St John the Baptist

Mike is another strong recruitment piece.A smart player who does a lot of things well. Can shoot it and rebound the ball. Has a strong 2 dribble to the rim or use it to get off his pull up.
Thomas Whelan Thomas Whelan 6'2" | CG Fordham Prep | 2022 State NY 6”2 Fordham Prep
Commitment: University of Southern Maine D3
Thomas has been a major part of a lot of winning in his high school career. All league honors this past season. He averaged 13 ppg. Can score from beyond the arc or get to the rim.
