Jalen Grace, PG, KC Red Storm 2024, Olathe East: A solid point guard prospect with nice athleticism, change of pace with the ball, steady court vision, is a creator for others. The young guard also has the ability to put the ball on the deck and go get into the painted area and get a bucket and is a good transition guard as a ball handler or perimeter runner.
Willie Dorsey, 6’2 Guard, KC Red Storm 2024, Wellsville: The younger brother of prolific scorer 2022 Guard Jimmy Dorsey Jimmy Dorsey 6'6" | SG Wellsville | 2022 State KS , Willie is a developing scorer in his own right with the same competitive gene and shooting prowess. Can get going in a hurry both off the catch and dribble with growing range. Will crash the glass on both ends, solid defender, not afraid to mix it up, and makes smart basketball plays.
Brax Fisher Brax Fisher 6'1" | PG Abilene | 2024 State KS , 6’2 Guard, SSA Elite 2024 Black, Abilene: Has shown the ability at the high school level to be a more traditional point guard getting teams into the flow of the offense, playing under control, and be a primary facilitator, and on the grassroots scene so far has thrived getting downhill, getting off a screen and attacking, or putting pressure on defenses in transition. Had some really tough shots made in the first live weekend. Blending both types of his game together will produce really good guard play this weekend.
Emmett Gaskill Emmett Gaskill 6'3" | SG Hugoton | 2024 State KS , 6’3 Guard, SSA Elite 2024 Black, Hugoton: Very versatile skillset and has shown growth in the offensive game. Shot it really well from 3 especially from the corner in the first live weekend, initiated the offense some, cut well to the rim and finished off passes at the rim, and drove the ball to attract help and made some nice kicks out for shots. A good screener and rebounder as well, Gaskill is a big time competitor.
Kyden Thompson, 6’ Guard, Kansas Team 2024, McPherson: A very shifty guard who is a quality playmaker for others after getting going off the bounce towards the rim. Has pretty long arms for his frame and can find all sorts of avenues and windows to find open shooters and cutters. Crafty finisher at the rim and out to the mid range area as well. Has a ton of upside and potential.
Eli Lawson Eli Lawson 6'7" | C Bennington | 2024 State KS , 6’7 Forward, Kansas Team 2024, Bennington: A long and athletic forward who has a little bit of everything you’d like to see from a long forward. Some stretch ability, seals well with a solid back to basket game, rim runs out in transition, can fly around and block shots, walls up well when guarding the ball, and is a willing passer from the paint. Was a stat sheet stuffer during the high school season and is poised for a big spring and summer.
