The Hustle Region Circuit consists of AAU Programs from California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Colorado, and New Mexico. The circuit features 10 stops including the Hustle Region Final in Irvine July 15th – 17th. Stop 3 is a big one, as the circuit pulls up in Kansas City for the NCAA Certified Prephoops Live Event. The event featured an extraordinary number of guys who could knock down shots. In this article, we take a look at the top shooters from the event.
Khalif Bettis Khalif Bettis 6'6" | SF Burnsville | 2023 State MN 6’5 SG Minnesota Chill 2023 – Bettis was one of the first snipers I saw. The wing was able to be effective in catch-and-shoot situations. He showed good form knocking down three threes in the game I watched.
Dominick Rhoades-Martinez 6’1 CG D1 New Mexico 2025 – Sanchez was nothing if not efficient. I saw him play twice and his shooting was on point. He showed the ability to not only hit catch and shoot shots, but he also used rhythm bounces to create space before firing. His calling card was his range, as the guard made the majority of his shots from deep behind the NBA line.
Bryce Riehl Bryce Riehl 6'0" | CG Mesa Ridge | 2025 State CO 5’10 PG Rising Stars 2025 – I saw a little of Riehl in Denver, however, this was the first time I got a chance to evaluate his game thoroughly. He’s a confident shooter that spaced the floor for his squad. Riehl has decent shot prep, complete with his feet set and hands ready. He knocked down a couple threes in the game I watched.
Aeron Stevens Aeron Stevens 6'7" | PF Plainview-Eligin-Millville | 2023 State MN 6’6 PF Minnesota Lightning 2023 (featured image) – Stevens hit one of those zones this weekend. I’m not sure if he’s a 3 or a 4 but when he shoots it like this, it doesn’t matter. He was unconscious in the game I watched, knocking down 8 threes in the game, including a stretch of 4 consecutive. His form is pure, but it was his ability to get his feet set quickly when coming off the move that impressed me the most. I don’t know if he was the best sniper, but he certainly put on one of the best performances.
Tanner Braketa Tanner Braketa 6'1" | PG Ralston Valley | 2025 State #285 Nation CO 6’1 SG B&B Academy 2025 – Braketa was amazing. I love guys that make you watch and Braketa made me do that twice. On separate occasions, I was watching another game when the sniper started going crazy on the court next to me. I think his best shooting skill was his ability to get his shot off in traffic. Braketa made a habit of knocking down shots against fast closing defenders. In two games I watched he made 19 total threes.
Will Opsahl Will Opsahl 6'8" | SF Goodhue | 2023 State MN 6’7 PF Minnesota Lightning 2023 – The Lightning had a plethora of shooters including Opsahl. The floor spacing forward seemed to make every three that Stevens didn’t, spraying treys with ease. He was one of the better corner shooting bigs that I saw on the day.
Logan Bishop Logan Bishop 6'2" | SG Lee's Summit West | 2024 State MO 6’2 SG KC Spurs 2024 – The sharpshooting Bishop caught my eye with his floor spacing ability. He managed to make multiple threes in the game I watched, all of them from the corners.
