These players stood out on the court and were key pieces to their overall teams. There are some names new to our lists which I love to see as that is what we are all about uncovering up and coming talent and helping them get on the college coaches radar! Let’s take a deeper dive below:
2024 Adrian Moore Adrian Moore 6'1" | CG SLMA! Tampa | 2024 State FL – American Collegiate Academy – Team Angermgmt – Adrian is a physical guard who goes hard on both ends of the court. Adrian was playing up this past weekend in 17u and more than held his own against stiff competition. Adrian has above average basketball IQ and has a smooth overall style of play. One to keep an eye on as the season moves forward.
2023 Hasani Rivera Hasani Rivera 6'9" | PF Orlando Christian Prep | 2023 State FL – OCP – Florida Suns – Hasani is a 6’9 powerhouse with a more than ready college frame. He moves well without the ball and is a rebounding and shot blocking machine. I really hope this team is playing during live period as he will draw a lot of college attention over the summer from his frame alone. Only a junior this young man has a ton of upside and will be a force on the circuit.
2024 Ralph Blanc Ralph Blanc 6'5" | SF Mater Lakes | 2024 FL – Mater Lakes – 305 Elite – Ralph continues to shine everytime I see him play. He is a 6’6 physical big with above average rebounding and shot blocking skills. He goes hard on both ends of the floor and is a handful to deal with on the defensive end. Ralph will be amongst the best bigs on the circuit and has strong upside to his overall game. Looking forward to seeing his overall game progress as the season moves on.
2025 Jonathan Merci – Suncoast – Stampede Elite – Jonathan had a solid overall weekend putting up big numbers across the board and leading his team to several key victories. One of his standout performances from over the weekend included a game where he scored 34 points to go along with 14 rebounds. This young man will only get better and will be one to watch going forward.
2024 Adonai Mussie – Parkview High School – No Excuses Elite – Perhaps the most impressive player over the weekend in the 2024 class was this 6’8 monster who simply did it all for his team. Adonai ate up almost the entire paint in the middle making it very difficult for the opposing teams to get any inside penetration against this stellar team. I am not surprised they went 4-0 and will be amongst the top of the forthcoming power rankings. This young man will continue to garner a ton of attention and I look for a monster summer ahead. There are several matchups on the circuit that I cannot wait to see with this group and I expect them to make a run for the Passion Region title.
