2024 5’9 Noah Cutler Noah Cutler 5'9" | PG Charlotte | 2024 FL Point Guard
This rising junior was consistent all weekend averaging double figures every game, highlighted by a 21 point outing. This PG is FAST in transition and plays up-tempo weaving through opposing defenses and finishing at the rim with a wide array of smooth layups in traffic. Cutler was the best ball handler of the weekend, he was quickly able to get by his defenders and put them on his back hip generally resulting in a pull-up jumper, or finishing at the rim.
His ability to get paint touches almost at will opens up his drive and kick to shooters on his team. Noah shot a high percentage from behind the arc this weekend off the spot up and dribble. Gaining more strength and weight on his frame would make him an easy pick for a college roster looking for a do it all point guard.
Elijah Lubsey 2024 6’6 Forward/Wing
Lubsey has great size and knows how to use his body and strength to his advantage. He has great touch around the rim. The 6’6 forward did an outstanding job cleaning the glass and putting it back up for the easy two.
The first game I watched him play he had a double-double. Lubsey worked well in the high post and block. His ability to use his size and finish over defenders had coaches constantly trying to switch defensive schemes to handle Elijah. A consistent jump shot would make this 2024 prospect a gem for college coaches. This North Port rising junior has a TON of protentional.
2024 Calven Charles 6’3 Guard/Wing
This two-sport athlete plays much bigger than his size. Charles was Florida Elite’s workhorse, he did the majority of the their rebounding, was able to push the ball in transition and finish some tough contact layups.
Calven’s 12 pt 6 reb game against a tough Florida Spartans really made him stand out and do what was needed when the lights were the brightest. I’d like to see this guard shoot the ball more to complete his offensive arsenal, doing so would bring a lot of attention to his game.
2024 5’10 Antaun Brisbane Point Guard
When I first saw him and his team walk-in, admittedly I didn’t know a single player on their roster and they were wearing jerseys from the local rec. The old saying rang true “Never judge a book by its cover”. The moment Antaun’s hands touched the ball it was clear this kid could flat out hoop. This quick-twitch guard controlled the tempo of the game from the first tip. His confidence in his jump shot was incredible, he didn’t think twice before pulling, even in transition.
The first couple shots I watched in disbelief at his shot selection, then I quickly realized these are shots Brisbane clearly works on. The defense quickly realized you couldn’t give him an inch. The last game I watched him play he started the game 4/4 from behind the arc. All shots where he created off the dribble. Brisbane was also able to finish around the rim. This Miami prospect was a lot of fun to watch, I expect a breakout travel season for the 2024 prospect.
