Ayden Carter Ayden Carter 6'4" | SG Fremont Ross | 2023 State OH , 6’3 SG Fremont Ross 2023 – Hopson Elite 17 U: Carter is a great athlete who threw down some impressive dunks in warm-ups. Carter used his size and quick first step to get around defenders and get to the rim. Carter also possesses advanced court vision with some impressive no-look passes in the game I saw. Outside of a shaky jumper, I didn’t notice any other noticeable flaws in Carter’s game. After a very productive season in the TRAC, it was no surprise that Carter produced at the level he did for Hopson Elite this weekend.
Antwaun Hathcock Antwaun Hathcock 6'6" | PF Ponitz | 2023 State OH , 6’5 PF Ponitz 2023 – Hopson Elite 17 U: Hathcock showed some nice promise for Hopson Elite against All Ohio Select. Hathcock threw down a nice dunk in the half-court showing off the bounce he has. Hathcock also made some nice moves in the post and rebounded well. Hathcock put up some impressive numbers in the Dayton City League and is one of the best players on Hopson Elite.
Will Aljancic Will Aljancic 6'6" | SF Louisville | 2023 State OH , 6’5 SF Louisville – All Ohio Select 17 U: Ajanlic put-up big-time numbers as a Junior for Louisville and I was very excited to see him in person for an All Ohio Select squad with some talent. I left impressed with Ajanlic’s shot-making ability from the outside and his size. Ajanlic projects to be an easy transition to the college level with his height, shooting and simple reads. I think Division II and NAIA programs should be looking at Ajanlic to provide floor spacing from the WF position the day he steps on campus.
Stanley Clyne Stanley Clyne 6'3" | SG Tippecanoe | 2023 State OH , 6’3 SG Tippecanoe 2023 – Midwest Basketball Club Black 17 U: Clyne had a big season for Tippecanoe as a Junior, finishing top 5 in the MVL in scoring. Clyne shot the ball above 40% from downtown during the high school season but was mostly a slasher for Midwest Basketball Club Black this weekend. Clyne took advantage of closeouts and wasn’t afraid of contact when attacking the rim. Clyne also has a long wingspan which allows him to make some plays defensively.
