They also won a tournament game in the Class A Division. I attend the first round playoff game against Trinity-Pawling. Every time I watch Trevor play I am more and more impressed. In the game Trevor made three three pointers, to go along with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 steals. Trevor is a point guard, with crafty handles. He can get by anyone, and can change speeds on a dime. He is a threat to shoot, drive to the basket, and he also is a great passer. Trevor plays with such high energy. One play in the game Trevor caught the defense sleeping on an inbounds play, and he stole it for an easy layup. Trevor is 6-1, but plays bigger than 6-1. Trevor doesn’t force shots, and makes players around him better. Trevors high basketball IQ, and playmaking skills, make him a great fit to play at the Division 1 college level.

He finished game with 18 points, and was a force on both ends of the floor. He was named of MVP of the game. At 6-10 Matas has shown the perfect skill set to play at a high level college program. With his size, to be able to stretch the floor and play out on the wing, makes his tough guard. He has the ability to shoot, and also attack the basket. Matas is also a force on defense, and a good shot blocker.
