As we head into our next live period here are some players to keep an eye on. You’ll be hearing more and more from these guys over the spring and summer months.
Jeremiah Alexander (Beech Grove H.S. 2023/The Indiana Central 2023): Fresh off of winning a Class 3A state championship at Beech Grove, Alexander has moved on to the Adidas Gold Circuit with Indiana Central. A long, athletic, 6’2″ guard, Alexander brings excellent two-way ability to the perimeter.
David Cundiff David Cundiff 6'0" | PG Munster | 2024 State IN (Munster H.S. 2024/Team GRIII 2024 Elite): Cundiff was great at The Stage two weeks ago and then held his own while playing up with the Team GRIII 2023 Elite squad at the Chi-Town Tip-Off last weekend. He is highly skilled with the ball with some sneaky quickness and is super competitive.
Anthony DeFur Anthony DeFur 6'4" | SF Mooresville | 2025 State IN (Mooresville H.S. 2025/Grand Park Premier 2025): Shooter. Shooter. Shooter. DeFur can fill it up from beyond the arc as he has already shown on the UAA Circuit. He will be out in Kansas City this weekend as he looks to continue a strong start to his spring season.
Mason Harvey Mason Harvey 6'7" | PF Seton Catholic | 2024 State IN (Seton Catholic 2024/EG10 Red 2024): Anytime you can pair knock down shooting ability with a 6’7″ frame you have an intriguing prospect. That is what Harvey brings to the table for EG10 Red 2024. He will be out at Prep Hoops Live in Kansas City this weekend.
Isaac Higgs Isaac Higgs 6'2" | PG Evansville Reitz | 2023 State IN (Evansville Reitz H.S. 2023/Kyle Guy Elite Black): A very quick, tough 6’2″ guard, Higgs is a name to know on a Kyle Guy Elite Black squad loaded with college prospects. He is excellent in transition, can get to the basket off of the bounce, and showcases a nice pull-up jumper.
Jackson McGee Jackson McGee 6'3" | PG Leo | 2024 State IN (Leo H.S. 2024/Indy Heat Red 2024): McGee was very good in the state tournament for Leo and is now holding down the backcourt for a talented Indy Heat Red team. He is a bigger lead guard with a strong, athletic frame. Look for him to have a big weekend at the Hardwood Invitational in Westfield.
Amari Middlebrooks (Westfield H.S. 2024/Indiana Ice 2024): Middlebrooks is a strong forward with good athleticism and the ability to operate around the basket. He is a little undersized at 6’3″ but has the strength and athleticism to hold his own. Really developing his overall skill set and having a nice spring for Indiana Ice on the Adidas Gold Circuit. Will be in Spartanburg, South Carolina this weekend.
Ian Stephens Ian Stephens 6'5" | PF New Palestine | 2023 State IN (New Palestine H.S. 2023/JH1 IndyElite 2023): This 6’5″ forward has burst onto the scene after an excellent junior season and a couple of strong weekends on the Prep Hoops Circuit. Stephens is an excellent rebounder and a great scorer around the basket. Continues to improve his shooting ability out to the three-point arc as well. Good small college prospect to follow this live period in Kansas City!
Tucker Tornatta (Evansville Memorial H.S. 2024/Kyle Guy Elite White): The 6’7″ Tornatta burst onto the scene a couple of weekends ago at the NY2LA Spring Extravaganza. He put together a 25-point, 19-rebound performance and is playing like one of the best forwards in Indiana’s Class of 2024. Worth getting eyes on while he is down in Louisville this weekend.
Lemetrius Williams (Gary 21st Century 2025/94 Feet Elite 2025): A versatile 6’3″ wing, Williams has been really good for 94 Feet Elite 2025 this first couple of weekends. He is very strong on the perimeter and is tough to stop when he gets going downhill. Definitely a name to know coming out of Gary over the next few years.
