Their were 13 teams in the division and here is the breakdown for the Honorable Mention plus a couple others for 16U:
Isaiah Feazell PG 5’10 2024 Gregori/CA (No Fear Elite 2024)
A two-way scoring lead guard with speed. He has a quick handle and he gets to the rim and can finish off with floaters. He can hit the deep three and he is a ball hawk defensively. He can over handle it a little but his talent won’t be questioned. He also can thread the needle to his teammates.
Richard Lopez Jr SG 6’1 2026 JW North/CA (Cali Elite Lopez 2024)
A high IQ incoming freshman plays like a son of a coach would. He gives high effort on the defensive end and plays a smart floor game. He has a consistent shooting stroke from the three point line and moves without the ball. He can play on and off the ball.
Daniel Mills SG 5’10 2024 Yucca Valley/CA (Desert Basketball Club 2024)
One of the top shooters at the 16U level. He is a true sniper with pretty form and a quicker release. He made some clutch free throws to ice their win versus the talented Rancho Elite. He is crafty to get into the lane with a decent handle and uses the floater.
Manny Nazario CG 5’10 2024 Paloma Valley/CA (Cali Elite Markus 2024)
A talented guard who was a late add to the team. He is extremely confident and plays with some swagger. He can hit shots from all over the court and has real range on his three. He has a quick burst to get downhill and score with a nice layup package.
Nathan Wanjohi Nathan Wanjohi 6'6" | PF Phhoenix Prep | 2024 AZ (D1 Nation 2024)
A high motored forward does many 50/50 plays for his team to win. He grabs out of area rebounds, blocks shots and collect steals with his effort and length. He scores on floaters, put backs and he will shoot it from mid-range consistently.
Kingston McLaughlin PF 6’6 2024 Temecula Valley/CA (IE Fire Elite 2024)
A long, tall and lean forward with a nice shooting touch. He uses his length on the glass to corral the ball. He can block a few shots as well and he can make shots from elbow and in. He is one of those players with added weight and strength, he should make a big leap up.
Ray Wiggins PF 6’4 2024 Gregori/CA (No Fear Elite 2024)
A sturdy framed four-man with strength. He carves out space with his build and girth to score or rebound. He is very patent in the post and will wait for the defense to react and then he will make his move. He gives high effort and provided good depth for his team playing behind the talented Isaiah Waters.
