Their were 13 teams in the division and here is the breakdown for the 3rd team all 16U:
Cooper Creamer PF 6’4 2024 Chaparral/CA (IE Fire Elite 2024)
A physical inside-out threat. He is extremely strong at nearly 190 lbs and uses his frame, strength and long arms to rebound and score it versus the bigger post players. He also boxes out well to secure the board. He can also step out and shoot the three with some range and confidence.
Kamari King PG 5’10 2025 Birmingham/CA (Cali Elite Jason 2024)
A scoring point guard with an extremely quick first step. He has a very shifty handle and he can touch the paint and kick it out to a shooter. He can get hot quickly and make the three with a quicker release.
Ilyes Lear W 6’3 2024 Etiwanda/CA (Rancho Elite 2024) (Pictured)
A long and somewhat lean wing is a very good defender and shooter. He moved over from France last year and he moves fluidly around the court. He uses his length and lateral quickness to play the passing lanes to collect steals. He can consistently make the catch-3 and his stroke looks good every attempt.
Jacob Munden PF 6’4 2024 San Dieguito Academy/CA (Coastal Premier 2024)
A power forward with skill and strength. He has a nice combination of skill to the three point line and he is very competitive inside. He bangs with his braun and girth in the paint and moves around without the ball to free himself. He also knows when to cut.
Cian Phipps SF 6’2 2024 Riverside Poly/CA (Gamepoint Inland Empire 2024)
A highly skilled wing forward can shoot it easily from mid to the 3pt line. He has a picture perfect shooting stroke with good ball rotation. He comes off screens and will catch and fire away. He changes speeds to get his defender off of him. He plays a smart floor game and the high academic forward unfortunately went down with an injury, but showed off his talents on Saturday.
Tyler Pitts SF 6’2 2025 Rancho Cucamonga/CA (Rancho Elite 2024)
A long defensive minded wing was the glue guy for the 3-1 team. He defends and plays multiple positions. He can get downhill, hit perimeter jumpers and makes some plays. He brings a lot of energy to each game on both sides of the court.
Brian Williams CG 6’1 2024 JW North/CA (Cali Elite Lopez)
A long combo guard with speed. He has a good first step and quickness to get into the paint. He loves getting downhill but he can shoot the three off the dribble from mid to the three point line. He is quick on the ball defensively.
