Ryan Davidson Ryan Davidson 6'4" | SF North Laurel | 2023 State KY , Kentucky Vision Elite – Davidson can be a little overlooked at North Laurel but he was able to play with the ball in his hands a lot this past weekend and showed he’s a good decision maker when running an offense. Ryan is built like a college Sophomore already and you can see where the bulk helps him to finish well around the rim. He should draw some coaches out at the live period this weekend.
Teagan Moore Teagan Moore 6'4" | SF Owen County | 2023 State KY , Griffin Elite – Moore is one of the most prolific scorers in the state and this weekend was no different. Teagan is a very crafty finisher who can make difficult shots all around the rim but is also an excellent rebounder who scores on putbacks multiple times per game. He didn’t shoot the ball great this past weekend from deep but Teagan doesn’t take many bad shots considering the high rate he scores at.
Kirk Lemons Kirk Lemons 6'0" | SG CAL | 2023 State KY , Kentucky Vision Elite – Kirk is widely known for his shooting abilities and this weekend was no different as he was dialed in from deep all weekend. Lemons has deep range out to 25 feet or more and a quick trigger when given space. He needs to attack the basket a little more often than he does now to keep defenses honest but he knows his three point shooting is his best offensive asset and isn’t afraid to fire from deep.
Walter Campbell Walter Campbell 6'6" | PF Western Hills | 2023 State KY , Griffin Elite – A bruising wing who can bully most defenders to the rim, Walter had a big weekend for a 4-0 Griffin team. At 6’6, Campbell can play inside or out and was comfortable stepping out and knocking down 3s more than once this weekend. With his big frame and athleticism, Walter is a good rebounder and is active on the boards. Look for him to turn some heads this weekend in the live period.
Sam Glass, Kentucky Vision Select – Glass was a total unknown to me when the weekend started but the Eastern forward had multiple double doubles and helped his Select team to some wins. At 6’5, Sam is a little bit of a tweener but isn’t afraid to stick his nose in and rebound against bigger players. He’ll be a player to keep tabs on this summer and look at for inclusion in our next rankings update.
