Jaeden Jones Jaeden Jones 6'0" | PG Colonia | 2024 State NJ | 5’11” | G | Colonia 2024
A talented multi-sport athlete who will be a sought after football recruit. Jones uses that athleticism to his advantage on the hardwood. He’s active on defense, uses his d-back skills to read passes on the floor as well, pushes it in transition and is unafraid of contact around the rim. Dished out 10 assists in a state playoff win over Mendham and had 12 points in the season ending loss to Ramapo. Should be poised for a breakout junior campaign on an always tough Colonia squad.
Jaden Kelly Jaden Kelly 6'4" | SG Roselle Catholic | 2024 State NJ | 6’4” | G | St. Thomas Aquinas 2024
A hot handed shooter who’s also adept attacking the rim. Good ballhandling skills, athletic defender and has good form on his shot with a quick release. Kelly raised his standard and stock in the final month of the season against quality opponents in the County and State tournaments. He had 13 vs Gill, 14 vs Rutgers Prep and 15 vs Monroe. Bryant has offered and there will be more.
Jalen Fleming | 6’2” | G | Timothy Christian 2025
TCS has had a number of college players pass through its doors throughout its existence as an “Under The Radar” school in Middlesex County. Fleming will be the next one. He’s got a very mature frame for a freshman and uses that to his advantage when he’s getting out in transition or attacking the rim. A big bodied slasher who may grow into more of a forward player depending on his height trajectory. He had 33 vs a good Bound Brook team. Nearly 400 pts as a freshman. He’s a player that colleges should be keeping an eye on already—especially Christian schools, given the atmosphere at TCA.
Philip Unangst Philip Unangst 6'6" | SF Hillsborough | 2024 State NJ | 6’6” | F | St. Thomas Aquinas 2024
A long, well built and athletic forward who can get out in transition and also battle on the block. He’s got good fundamentals, a nice form on his shot and has range beyond the arc. He saw spot time his first two years but should see a more prominent role as a junior and senior. He’s a two sport athlete—A pitcher for the Trojans baseball team as well. Scholarship level programs should be paying attention to Unangst the next two years.
