First Team All Circuit: Session Two
In this article:
The best of the best from The Stage, the First Team All Circuit from Session Two. Five players from five different areas of the country.
Kadyn Betts Kadyn Betts 6'7" | PF Huntington Prep | 2023 #90 Nation CO of PLUTO Prospects (CO). From Ryan James: “Kadyn is physically there. He’s 6’9, has good strength with a frame to add more, and he’s agile enough to finish physically and to defend a ball screen in all the ways teams wants. Rebounding effort. There are guys that get good rebounding numbers but don’t board out of their area, and then there are guys that dominate their area and then work hard to board out of their area and to get second chances for their team (that’s Kadyn). Betts is an absolute nightmare for defenses when it comes second chance opportunities. He’s quick off his feet, battles with constant effort, and too big/strong/agile for a smaller player to drop to and try and limit. Then you add that budding touch. Betts hit four threes in one game and is really good shooting, passing, or using a dribble out of the high post. I love the idea of getting him high post touches as well as the low post back to basket touches.”
Trey’Dez Green Trey’Dez Green 6'8" | PF Zachary | 2024 State #54 Nation LA of LA Broncos. From Scott Burgess: “It was a monster weekend for this Louisiana big man. He has high-major post written all over him! Lefty with a strong and mobile build. He was excellent as a rim runner, offensive rebounder, and making assertive moves in the paint. Did it over and over again. Good footwork and touch around the basket. Snatched rebounds in traffic like they were his and his alone. Went for 30+ in one game we saw and 20 in another.”
Dallas Bear Dallas Bear 6'8" | SF Cedar Falls | 2023 State #276 Nation IA of Iowa Barnstormers. From Michael Herrick: “He was easily one of the best players in Indy this weekend. Dallas was a First Team All-Tournament player. Bear scored from all over the court. His catch-n-shoot jumper was one of the best at the Convention Center all weekend. Bear has flawless form and he is a 3-point shooting sniper. . Bear is a sharpshooter with great length and skill. Dallas has an elite basket sense and he is a pure bucket scorer. Every time he plays next weekend in KC during the live period Dallas will have a ton of eyes on him.”
Alijah Adem Alijah Adem 6'2" | PG Spring Valley | 2024 State #174 Nation NV of Chosen Few. From Ryan James: “Few sophomores have the ability to craft space like Adem and few players his age have the ability to make shots in small windows like Alijah. When it comes to arsenal of dribble separation moves and ability to shoot a high percentage in small windows, Adem is in that 2024 elite category. Even more impressive, he put up massive numbers and did it against a very high level of 2023 competition. Adem leading his team to a win over Minnesota Fury with 31 points and eight assists is a story in itself as the Fury is one of the best two teams in the state of Minnesota at the 17 and Under level. Adem continues to prove he is one of the best guards in the 2024 class week after week both during the high school season (Las Vegas Player of the Year) and now during 17U play.”
Babatunde Durodola of Canada Elite. From Scott Burgess: “Maybe the best long term prospect I saw all weekend. This 6’7” small forward from Canada was playing up on the 16U level with his 2025 UAA team. What first caught our attention was his elite defensive capabilities. Defended all over the floor moving his feet, blocking shots, and getting into his man. Offensively he has long strides getting to the rim making regular trips to the charity stripe. Finished inside and rebounded well in traffic. Showed a clean looking shot on a corner three. No doubt high-major early in the process.”
