Donovan Clingan Donovan Clingan 7'1" | C Bristol Central | 2022 State #61 Nation NLG , Bristol central, Position C, HT 7-2, Class 2022
The Number 1 ranked player in Connecticut, and the most dominate player all season long continued his dominance in the tournament. He lead Bristol central to a Division 2 state championship. Donovan put up huge numbers all year. In the State Semi finals he had 30 points and 20 rebounds. In the State finals he had 25 points, and 24 rebounds. At 7-2 there is very few teams that have the size to match up with him. Donovan just over powers people in the paint. He is developing an outside game as well. Donovan is going to be staying in Connecticut next season as he is committed to UCONN. Donovan is a very high level player, and has a mix of size, strength, and skill.
Keyshawn Mitchell Keyshawn Mitchell 6'8" | SF Capital Prep | 2022 State NLG , Capital Prep, Position F/G, HT 6-9, Class 2022
Keyshawn is a high level prospect. He is a forward who can stretch the floor, and also be a force in the paint. Keyshawn is a scorer, and also a dominate rebounder. Keyshawn lead his team to the Division V state semi finals. He had 26 points in the semi final game. Keyshawn has a bunch of mid major division 1 offers, and I think he will do well at one of those colleges.
Howard Simpson, Bloomfield, HT 6-5, Class 2023, Position F
Howard Simpson showed up biggest when his team needed him. He helped lead his Bloomfield team the the Division IV state championship title. Howard had 23 points in 14 rebounds in the final. Howard often guard the other teams biggest player. Howard is a very tough, and physical player. Howard hit the game winning free throws to secure the state Championship. Howard is a player who should get a lot of attention from college coaches.
James Jones, East Catholic, HT 6-5, Position SF, Class 2023
James helped lead East Catholic to the division 1 state championship win. In the game he had a double double with 14 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 blocks. James is a player who does a little bit of everything to impact the game. He is a strong player on both the offensive and defensive side of the floor. Janes has the game to play at the college level, and proved that in the tournament.
