#46 PH 6’4 SF MJ Tia MJ Tia 6'4" | SF Cyprus | 2022 State UT || Cyprus High School || 2022 ||
MJ is one of those players that can play any position that he is told. He defends anyone and will play with a high motor at all times. Mj is an ideal 3 at the next level and when he gets to the next level he has the ability to reach a new level in his development. With a recent offer from Southwest Oregon Community College MJ could really shine at a smaller school as he could get time on the floor there. Mj rebounds the ball, hustles and makes plays that often do not register on the stat sheet. Might be a steal at the 3 for a school in need in that position.
#47 PH 6’4 CG Noah Widerburg Noah Widerburg 6'4" | CG Cottonwood | 2022 State UT || Cottonwood High School || 2022 ||
Noah was one of those players that has been at Cottonwood for the past four years. Noah was one of the players that also changed the culture around as Cottonwood is winning more games and playing a different brand of basketball that has that program moving forward. Great size as a combo guard that can score inside and out. Has the skills to play at the next level.
#48 PH 6’8 PF Bowen Davies Bowen Davies 6'8" | PF Murray | 2022 State UT || Murray High School || 2022 ||
Bowen has been courted by a few small schools and others in the area as he has size and skill on the post. Nice looking 15-foot shot. Bowen is impressive on the defensive end as he has been solid holding his own against various bigs. Bowen has his timing down on those contest and blocks as well. Bowen was one of the leaders in the state in block shots. Bowen runs the floor well and he has room to continue to develop his skills as a big.
#49 PH 6’7 F Nic Hogan Nic Hogan 6'7" | PF Woods Cross | 2022 State UT || Woods Cross High School || 2022 ||
Could be one of the steals in the class when it comes to player development and motor. In the playoffs he showed hi value as a physical presence and he is just a junkyard dog out there that has a soft tough. He likes to run uo and down the floor and he attacks the boards on both ends of the floor. Really like how Nic doesn’t wait for rebounds to come to him, he is out there trying to track rebounds down.
#50 PH 6’9 C Jackson Rose Jackson Rose 6'9" | C Cedar Valley | 2022 State UT || Cedar Valley High School || 2022 ||
Jackson is a diamond in the rough and you will get an extra look at him as he is running with an unsigned team in Utah hYPE. Jackson has the game to play right away. He could really be a player that finds a home and develops in a way that other coaches might be kicking themselves for passing up on him.
