Tyler Haney Tyler Haney 6'1" | CG Sun Prairie | 2025 State WI , United Hoops
I’ve talked about Haney way too much. My first team all-tournament standout excels at everything to be an elite point guard. He put up massive scoring numbers while only playing half of games. Haney’s a kid who can absolutely fly down the lane and finish through contact, he can also shot from anywhere on the floor. Displayed some great passing all weekend too, which is important for a point guard.
Kaden Magwood, Mac Irvin Fire
Magwood isn’t a player I saw a whole lot of, but the stuff I watched and heard from him was nothing but positive. He finds excellent scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. Also displays a tremendous amount of speed and can get up-and-down the floor in no time. From Kentucky, Magwood is currently ranked the #3 prospect by PrepHoops in the Bluegrass State.
Leo Perettie, Michigan Goonies
I saw Perettie put on a clinic Saturday morning. He was easily the best slasher I noticed this tournament. He’s very quick driving to the lane and can score through contact and with the floater. If he couldn’t get past a defender, he’d immediately look for a teammate open either in there paint or open for three. Perettie has decent size for his position, standing 6’0″. Perettie was also great on defense with tons of steals.
Leshawn Stowers, Peoria Pride
Stowers has a tremendous amount of upside for his size and durability. The 6’3″ guard led his team to a 4-0 record this weekend as . In the game I saw, He showed lots of confidence driving to the basket. He’s very explosive and can finish through contact. I saw him shoot pretty well too. I really like his layup package. can finish creatively at the basket with both hands.
Isaiah Pickens, DBallers
I loved the way he played this weekend. Pickens is a guy who can really take control of a game in clutch time. He finished impressively through contact for an and-one finish to secure a win Sunday morning. But that wouldn’t have been possible if he didn’t creatively dribble out of a double team. He was easily one of the best ball handlers this week end. Pickens has tons of confidence with his jump shot and can let it fly anywhere on the floor.
Eric Allen, Hammond Hurricanes
This kid can absolutely light up the floor. He hit six straight 3-pointers in the second half against Kessel Heat Sunday afternoon. He also hit several more in the game I watched earlier that day. Although 5’9″, Allen displays a tremendous amount of confidence with his shooting. He can also make some nice passes when needed.
Greg Dodson, Hammond Hurricanes
Dodson was an offensive juggernaut in both games for Hammond Hurricanes on Sunday. Got his scoring and passing going in both games. I really like his physicality and ability to finish through contact. Dodson is surely one of the better sized guards I watched. He’s also able to find shots from all three levels.
