Jaylen Carrington – 6’1 Guard – Auburn Raptors 2023
Carrington is a crafty combo guard with the ability to operate on all three levels and get his other guards involved as he did in their opening victory. He showed his ability to operate off the bounce while finishing with 13 points and getting to his spots on the floor. He’s a guard for small colleges to keep an eye on.
Patrick Screws Patrick Screws 6'6" | PF Eufaula | 2023 AL – 6’8 Forward/Center – Auburn Raptors 2023
Screws was an anchor in the post for Auburn Raptors as he showed off his ability to rebound the ball on both ends, get to the free-throw line and finish around the rim in traffic. He’s an emerging big man with a ton of upside given his size and frame. He’s a big man with size for small colleges to keep an eye on.
DJ Bell – 6’3 Wing/Forward – Underground Phenomz 2023-1
Bell is a versatile name to keep an eye on with Underground Phenomz 2023-1 with his ability to attack off the bounce and use his length to his advantage. He did well to create free-throw opportunities and put pressure on opponents to keep him at bay.
Shedrach Makanjuola Shedrach Makanjuola 6'9" | C Roxbury Prep (MA) | 2023 State NLG – 6’7 Forward – HBSA 2023
Makanjuola is a fast-starter with HSBA 2023 that really gets after it on both ends of the floor. He showed off his speed and athleticism getting down the floor and finishing with authority on Day 1 of the Carolina Crossover.
Chiemelie Igwebrian – 6’7 Forward/Center – HBSA 2023 (2022)
Igwebrian is a big man with potential as an unsigned senior. He’s a vocal presence on the floor that looks to use his length and size to make an impact on both ends of the floor. As he finds his way in the pick-and-roll game, look for his name to grow with this group.
Diamond Blakely – 5’10 Point Guard – HBSA 2023
Blakely does a tremendous job of working out of the pick-and-roll and finding creases to get his bigs the ball down low to make plays. He was a top passer when it was all said and done with his squad and did well to run their show on offense.
Jabari Sumpter Jabari Sumpter 6'7" | PF Holly Hill Academy | 2022 State SC – 6’7 Forward/Center – Next Level SC 2023 (2022)
Sumpter is an unsigned senior prospect with a nice feel for the game as a rim protector and rim runner. He did well to run the floor and finish with authority when needed and showed off his length as a shot blocker as well.
Ahmari Samuel Ahmari Samuel 6'3" | CG Sumter | 2022 State SC – 6’3 Guard – Next Level SC 2023 (2022)
Samuel was quite the craftsmen as he worked his way into the paint area on numerous occasions to finish around the rim. He’s another prospect with a ton of promise as an unsigned senior prospect that can play both ends.
Demarco Davis – 6’2 Guard – Metro Elite Basketball Club 2023 (2024)
Davis came alive in their opening game of the Carolina Crossover as Metro Elite came back from 15 down to steal a 5-point victory. He went off in the second half for 24 of 28 points while showing he can operate on all three levels and made things happen down the stretch in their comeback bid.
Jimar Franklin – 6’4 Wing/Forward – NEB Elite 2023
Franklin was relentless once again in his pursuit of the ball on both ends of the floor as he did his thing on the interior once again at Carolina Crossover. His 21 points led the way per usual for his squad as he continues to show off his ability to play with a motor in the paint area.
Yosef Goulbourne – 6’2 Guard – Zaytoven Elite 2023
Goulbourne exploded in the Zaytoven Elite 2023 backcourt in their final victory of the night. He put up 22 points, 13 in the second half, to power his squad to a comeback victory. He used his ability to operate off the bounce to get free-throw opportunities and keep defenders guessing in the long run in a win.
Keaton Tait – 6’5 Forward – Zaytoven Elite 2023
Tait was another prospect that thrived in the Zaytoven Elite 2023 rotation as a presence in the paint, especially in their final victory of the night. He showed off his ability to finish at the rim and finish in traffic while posting 17 points, showing his ability to rebound the ball and get to the free-throw line with his strong frame.
