We dive into the positional rankings. We now look at the small forwards for the freshman class.
Here are the top-8 SF’s in the 2025 class:
Koa Peat Koa Peat 6'8" | PF Perry | 2025 State #6 Nation AZ Perry
It will be difficult to find many better freshman then Peat. His poise, competitiveness, budding skill, power, size and athleticism are a blend most don’t possess. He was a stabilizer all year long for the talented Pumas. His paint game, defense and versatility is second to none in the class. He recently picked up offers from Illinois and Indiana.
Imisi Motunde Imisi Motunde 6'6" | SF International Sports Academy | 2025 OH AZ Compass Prep (Pictured)
A thicker framed wing forward with wider shoulders and big time strength. He works in the paint but has the skill and handle of a guard. He rebounds well and can handle it well for his size and is a sneaky good passer.
D’Andre Harrison D’Andre Harrison 6'5" | PF Perry | 2025 State AZ Perry
A talented lefty forward has a nice mixture of an inside-out game. He has a polished mid-range jumper and can hit the 3. He rebounds well in and out of his area and plays physical in the paint.
Lex Clontz Lex Clontz 6'3" | CG Cesar Chavez | 2025 State AZ Cesar Chavez
A sharp shooter wing forward had a great season for the young Champions. He has awarded the Region Offensive Player of the Year in the 6A Metro. He avg 11 ppg which included a 40 point game where he hit 10 3’s! His skill and IQ drive his game.
Nehemiah Williams Nehemiah Williams 6'4" | SF Cactus | 2026 State AZ Cactus
A bigger point forward type with athleticism. He really takes care of the ball and finds teammates easily. It wouldn’t surprise me to see him play PG down the road. He likes getting downhill and can hit the three.
Kingston Tosi Kingston Tosi 6'7" | SF Millennium | 2025 State AZ Millennium
Another talented small forward is a tough rebounder for his size. He does work inside but he can hit threes plus crossover his opponent and shoot it from mid-range. He played heavy minutes already as a freshman for the young and talented Tigers.
Jackson Hunter Jackson Hunter 6'5" | SF Liberty | 2025 State AZ Liberty
The younger brother of Caden has a lot of talent. He may be a little ahead of him at the same stage. He can comfortably shoot it from mid to the 3pt line. He has good length and he can create his own shot, but is best off the catch.
Connor Corey Connor Corey 6'5" | PF Pinnacle | 2025 State AZ Pinnacle
A highly skilled wing forward may be the best mid-range shooter on the list. He also happens to be a very good passer. He could end up as a that unique point forward type where coaches appreciate his versatility. He can rebound and will defend multiple positions.
