(Playing With Oklahoma Swift)
We got a chance to see Oklahoma Swift in action in the morning and in the afternoon and they went 1-1 in those games. In both contests, the brothers of Braeden Clinton Braeden Clinton 6'0" | CG Riverfield Country Day | 2024 State OK and Davieon Clinton were two of the best players on the floor. We were excited to see the brothers in action after they helped lead Riverfield, a small private school in Tulsa, to their first ever state tournament less than a month ago. They did not disappoint. Especially in the second game of the day, which went down to the wire with Oklahoma Swift winning 80-77. The Clinton brothers combined for 44 points and hit the game-winning basket with less than 15 seconds remaining. At the time that we write this, the Swift had another game on Saturday evening. But we’re really looking forward to their only game on Sunday. They’ll face off with one of the best teams in this tournament in Team Movement at 12:20PM. That’ll be a great test for the Clinton brothers.

There weren’t many 2022 prospects playing this weekend but we did see a few. But standing out above all of them early on in the day on Saturday was point guard Jawan Mukes Jawan Mukes 5'8" | PG OKC Storm | 2022 OK , playing with the 405 BadBoyz after spending last season with the OKC Storm. Mukes was one of the early standouts on the day with his ability to knock down shots from just about anywhere and was an absolute leader on the floor. Among all of the point guards that I had a chance to see on Saturday, Mukes was right at the top with his ability to lead and direct an offense, make shots and get his teammates involved. In a game against Oklahoma Swift, Mukes led all scorers with 21 points as he knocked down five shots from beyond the arc. Mukes and the BadBoyz won both of their games Saturday by double digits. They play again on Sunday at 10:10AM and 3:35PM.

(Playing With Oklahoma Impact)
Things didn’t go well for Oklahoma Impact in their only game of the day but that didn’t stop Del City’s 2023 standout Percy Green Percy Green 6'4" | SF Del City | 2023 State OK from having a strong performance. Despite the loss, Green finished with 16 points and was really the only bright spot as the Impact fell to the Oklahoma Wolfpack in a close game. Green was known during the school season for his ability to shoot it from beyond the arc. He gave Del City a boost in the shooting category. On Saturday, Green did most of his work in the paint, taking advantage of his size as he would finish at the rim and get plenty of rebounds on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. We’re expecting that not only will Green come back stronger on Sunday, but the Impact will have a much better day. They’ll have plenty of opportunities with three games on tap for Sunday at 8:00AM, 10:10AM and 12:20PM.

(Playing With Team Movement)
We definitely need to put Team Movement at the top of the conversation for most dominant team on Saturday. They went 3-0 on the day and made it look easy. Leading the way for them was Southmoore 2023 guard Rodney Gray Rodney Gray 6'1" | CG Southmoore | 2023 State OK . The standout guard did a little bit of everything for Team Movement throughout the morning and afternoon. He would force turnovers on defense that led to easy buckets. He would knock down shots from beyond the arc and also finish at the rim. And when he wasn’t finishing at the rim, he was drawing contact and converting on the free throws. He made scoring 20 points look easy and he was incredibly efficient. Because Team Movement had several blowouts, Gray didn’t play as many minutes as some of the other standouts on this list. They’ll look to finish up a perfect 4-0 weekend on Sunday at 12:20PM.

(Played With H&H Elite)
We had a couple players to choose from when it came to H&H Elite after their 2-0 start to the weekend. They really made things look easy in their afternoon game against Servants and we were able to catch that one from start to finish. While OCS 2024 guard Carson Jones led them with 18 points, we couldn’t ignore the playmaking ability of Edmond North 2024 guard Tatum Ridge Tatum Ridge 6'2" | CG Edmond North | 2024 State OK , who also finished with 16 points. Ridge was the engine that made this thing go on Saturday. He was right there with Jawan Mukes Jawan Mukes 5'8" | PG OKC Storm | 2022 OK in terms of playmaking ability at the point guard position and was incredibly impressive with his skill set. We’re looking forward to seeing more of a player in Ridge who is coming off helping Edmond North to a gold ball. Ridge and H&H Elite will return to the floor on Sunday for two more games to close out the opening weekend. They play at 11:15AM and again at 2:30PM.
