25) Doyle Brown Doyle Brown 6'1" | SG Bethel Academy | 2024 State VA | 6’2” | Centreville (#55 Overall)
Brown was one of the top scorers in the NOVA area this past year, as he took over the go-to role from their state championship team the year before and showed he can flat out fill it up while being a good defender as well. He can light it up from deep both off the catch and off the bounce, he can slash in straight lines and finishes well over bigger defenders and he’s a good on ball defender who can lock down the other team’s best scorer too.
24) CJ McPherson CJ McPherson 6'3" | SG Norfolk Collegiate | 2023 State VA | 6’3” | Norfolk Collegiate (#54 Overall)
McPherson is quickly becoming one of the top wings in the 757, as he has a mix of size and skill set that makes him very productive in a number of ways. He’s a very good shooter from deep who can come off screens and spot up with good range, he’s a good rebounder and plays with a good motor and he can create shots off the bounce as well.
23) Connor Lane Connor Lane 6'3" | CG Twin Springs | 2023 State VA | 6’3” | Twin Springs (#53 Overall)
Lane was an All State selection the past two seasons and is one of the top players in SWVA and should get a lot of recognition this summer on the AAU scene. He’s a big and off guard who can create off the bounce or work off the ball to get open, he’s a shot maker from multiple levels who can score it in bunches when he gets it going and he just has a knack for scoring the basketball.
22) Kaleb Brown Kaleb Brown 6'3" | SG King's Fork | 2023 VA | 6’3” | King’s Fork (#51 Overall)
Brown was a big part of King’s Fork run to the state semifinals this year, and he’s poised for a big summer on the AAU scene as he’s the perfect candidate for someone looking for a do-it-all wing. He has a strong build and uses that strength to defend and attack in the paint, he’s a good playmaker with good feel and vision, he can knock down shots from deep and multiple levels and he’s a good rebounder as well.
21) Connor Dubsky Connor Dubsky 6'4" | SG Sunrise Christian Academy | 2023 State NLG | 6’4” | St. Stephen’s St. Agnes (#50 Overall)
Dubsky reclassified and transferred to SSSAS and he’s shown that he can flat out fill it up and score it with the best of them. He’s always been a knock down shooter and he’s done a good job rounding his game out as he can put it on the deck and make tough shots in the midrange, he finishes with craft and good body control around the rim and he can get hot and has takeover ability as a scorer.
20) Jadon Pace Jadon Pace 6'4" | SF Kecoughtan | 2023 State VA | 6’4” | Kecoughtan (#48 Overall)
Pace is an intriguing prospect with his size and perimeter skill set, and he projects to be a high potential 3 and d guy at the next level moving forward. He has good length on the perimeter to get deflections and contest shots, he can get hot from deep and really drill it from deep when he gets it going and he’s improved in his ability to play on the basketball and initiate the offense as well.
19) Logan Rhoades Logan Rhoades 6'2" | CG Mills Godwin | 2023 State VA | 6’1” | Blue Ridge (#44 Overall)
Rhoades transferred to Blue Ridge from Mills Godwin out of Richmond and was instrumental in their run to yet another state championship. The 6’1” sharp shooter is one of the top shooters in the state and is consistent from deep with good range off the catch, he has a good understanding and IQ of the game and is like a coach on the floor and he’s a tough and gritty defender who will sacrifice his body to take charges and get loose balls.
18) Ralph Martino Ralph Martino 6'5" | SF Shabach Christian Academy | 2023 VA | 6’5” | John Champe (#43 Overall)
Martino burst on the scene this year helping Champe become a contender again in the Loudoun County area, and he’s a very intriguing long term prospect who is productive now but still has a lot of room to grow moving forward. He’s a long and athletic wing who can run the floor and play above the rim, he’s a little bit of a streaky shooter but he can get hot and knock it down in bunches and he has huge potential as a defender with his physical and athletic tools.
17) Kris Mickens Kris Mickens 6'5" | CG National Christian Academy | 2023 State MD | 6’4” | Fairfax Christian (#42 Overall)
Mickens transferred and reclassified to Fairfax Christian this year and was a huge reason that they were able to win a second straight state championship, and he’s another long term prospect who is continuing to improve and still has a lot of room to get better. At 6’4” he’s a wing who can play on the ball and attack downhill and score at the rim, he can catch and shoot from deep, he’s a good rebounder and athletic defender and he still has a lot of room to get better with a good physical frame.
16) MJ Smith MJ Smith 6'2" | SG Manor | 2023 VA | 6’2” | Manor (#36 Overall)
Smith is one of the top shooters in the 757, if not the entire state, and he’s done a great job rounding out his game and becoming a more polished scorer as well. He can create space on the perimeter with step backs and side-step three’s and he has great range, he can attack and find contact and gets to the line often and he has that microwave ability to get hot quickly and knock down shots in succession.
