#46 Colin Ayers Colin Ayers 6'0" | PG Cookeville | 2024 State TN (Cookeville)
The sophomore season for Colin Ayers Colin Ayers 6'0" | PG Cookeville | 2024 State TN was a disaster with injuries completely decimating his hopes and eradicating his plans. Evaluating him or his potential solely from this winter is ruthless and inaccurate. “(He had tendinitis in his knee,” said Cookeville Head Coach Josh Heard. “It was a crazy deal. He had to have a procedure done. He had a circulation problem. He is doing rehab (late February). He should be ready for AAU.” Before injury, and ideally afterwards, Ayers was a jet-quick point guard with good lift and a willingness to take offensive chances. He turned the ball over a good bit at a young age while also making difficult shots during difficult moments. Ayers will likely always be on the short end of the college point guard spectrum, but his skills of shooting and ball-handling will help vault him ahead of some peers.
#47 Bryson Andrews Bryson Andrews 6'0" | PG Hamilton Heights | 2024 State TN (Hamilton Heights)
Bryson is a better outside shooter than Camden, his older brother, was at the same stage of development. Andrews tucks his right elbow in very tight to his body, and the arm extends up in a flamingo-neck fashion. A high finish. The fantastic breakout game for BA occurred at the Lighthouse Classic in Corinth, Mississippi just after Thanksgiving. There is room for smaller (shorter) shooters at the collegiate level, for sure, but his height at 5-foot-11 limits his recruiting reach a bit. Still, Andrews is not unable to play point guard. He is just a proven shooter already.
#48 Murray Norman Murray Norman 6'3" | SG Munford | 2024 State TN (Munford)
Sophomore Murray Norman Murray Norman 6'3" | SG Munford | 2024 State TN is up to 6-foot-3, a wonderful height for a college guard. Of course, that is the destination he seeks after graduation. Murray’s lower-body strength and balance enable him to do so many things at a high level. Murray was often a pass-first player for Life Changers 17u last summer, as the team was stuffed with scorers. He can be that guy. He can also be a go-to scorer at the high school varsity level for pockets.
#49 Taveon Comage Taveon Comage 6'2" | PG Webb-Bell Buckle | 2024 State TN (Webb-Bell Buckle)
Firstly, Taveon is a slasher more than floor leader or shooter, meaning he currently projects as a shooting guard or wing. Secondly, Comage appears to be a dynamic wing now and into the future for several key reasons. For Webb School’s varsity team, TC provided slashing from either side of the court and/or versatile defense. He was able to help Stephen Olowoniyi Stephen Olowoniyi 6'7" | PF Webb Bell Buckle | 2023 State TN down low with an occasional shot-block or shot-alter, or move his feet 15′ from home. He averaged right at 1.0 spg (31s in 31g). Comage’s lower body balance and lower body strength are above average, and likely to provide a good foundation. Limitations are consistency as a shooter and height for position.
#50 Jerrod Mackey Jerrod Mackey 6'4" | SG Memphis Overton | 2024 State TN (Hillcrest)
