We look at the best players that represent each region based on production and overall play in 6A.

Region 1 MVP

6’5 CG [player_tooltip player_id="934472" first="Collin" last="Chandler"] || Farmington High School || 2022 ||

Collin was hands down the best player on the floor in every game he played. Expecting a player of his skill set to go off for 30 + points every game was just not going to happen. Collin has a game that creates for himself but he also creates for others. Farmington had every opportunity to hit those ope n shots, they just didn’t fall. Collin was scoring at a high clip even though he was being shadowed by multiple players on defense. Collin was rebounding, chasing down blocks and playing high level defense as well. Impressed with his outside shooting as there were games when he was the only player on his team to hit a long ball. People over in Happy Valley will be counting down the days before he makes his debut at the Marriott Center.

Region 2 MVP

6’0 PG [player_tooltip player_id="934030" first="Quentin" last="Meza"] || Cyprus High School || 2023 ||

Quentin is on pace to be one of the top scorers in state history and he is also going to be one of the best assist players in state history. That is something that is unheard of. Quentin is out there every night accounting for a high amount of his teams points because he i either scoring and passing on most of his teams points. He is a shifty gamer that rises to the competition. He has a high motor and his endurance has gotten better as he is in most of the game all season long. Quickness has improved and he is just a player that you have to contain because you cannot stop him.

Region 3 MVP

6’5 G [player_tooltip player_id="968084" first="Kam" last="Dupaix"] || Bingham High School || 2022 ||

Kam was a big body guard that had his way in Region 4. Didn’t play a lot of minutes in the 4th quarter like other players or his numbers would’ve been higher. He went head to head with most of the top scorers in the state and he held his own on both ends of the floor. Kam got better at shooting from distance and he also got better with his athletic ability as he dunked on a few players. Kam has a solid inside/outside game.

Region 4 MVP

6’3 G [player_tooltip player_id="1127199" first="McCaden" last="Adams"] || Pleasant Grove High School || 2022 ||

McCaden was one of the best scoring guards in the state. He was able to find various ways to score the ball all season long against everyone in the state. Not only does he score he rebounds and passes with the best of them. He is one of those position-less players that just finds a way when he is out on the floor.
