Ashton Janowski Ashton Janowski 6'1" | CG Pewaukee | 2022 State WI – 2022 – PG – Pewuakee
Janowski just came out and tore it up offensively. The Hillsdale commit scored 11 points quickly in the first half to help get Pewaukee off on the right foot. Janowski moves extremely well without the ball and is one of the top on-the-go shooters in the state, even able to knock down long range shots off-balance. Janowski finished with 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting. He also dished out three assists in Saturday’s win. Janowski has earned major trust from his coaching staff over the last four years, staying on the floor in the first half despite picking up his third foul. Hillsdale has gotten a few prospects from Wisconsin that could have gone D1 in the last few cycles. Think Janowski is certainly in that group.
Nick Janowski Nick Janowski 6'3" | SG Pewaukee | 2024 State #126 Nation WI – 2024 – G – Pewaukee
Janowski was quiet early, but once he started hunting his shots, Pewaukee took a double digit lead and never looked back. The sophomore guard ripped off three triples late in the first half as the Pirates began to pull away. ThoughtJanowski was defended pretty well throughout the game and didn’t get a lot of easy looks. He still finished with 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting, including 3-of-6 from downtown. In the midst of a monster sophomore season, Janowski has produced with big numbers against many of the best teams on Pewaukee’s loaded schedule. Think Janowski is going to play his way into being a top 75 national recruit when all is said and done.
Kon II Knueppel Kon II Knueppel 6'6" | SG Wisconsin Lutheran | 2024 State #15 Nation WI – 2024 – SG – Wisconsin Lutheran
Think Knueppel can be unselfish to a fault at times. He’s not a high volume scorer that needs the ball to impact the game, but like that was more assertive against a high octane Pewaukee squad. Knueppel scored 17 points on an efficient 6-of-9 shooting and went 2-of-2 from 3-point range. He also notched four rebounds and three blocks in the loss. Love his ability from about 8-10 feet from the rim. Knueppel has excellent footwork, able to get defenders off balance or out of position, allowing him to rise up and shoot over the top. An automatic catch-and-shoot threat from 3-point range, Knueppel shoots it exactly the same way every time and a very timely release. A do-it-all wing with positional versatility on both ends of the floor, Knueppel will pack a stat sheet throughout the course of 36 minutes and allow his team a ton of flexibility with its lineups.
Milan Momcilovic Milan Momcilovic 6'8" | SF Pewaukee | 2023 State #44 Nation WI – 2023 – F – Pewaukee
Thought Momcilovic really handled the double teams and extra attention that Wisconsin Lutheran threw at him very well. The state’s top ranked junior had a mismatch every time he touched the ball, but really surveyed the floor and saw where the help was coming from before attacking. Momcilovic had a couple of subtle, but big assists by hitting the relocator after the post entry feed. Momcilovic scored from everywhere on the floor, going 13-of-18 from the field, including a blistering 5-of-7 from 3-point range. Momcilovic went off in the last 7-8 minutes, knocking in four triples to put the Vikings away. When all else fails, Momcilovic has an unguarable game in the post, able to score with ease fading away from the rim and even off one feet. Holding high major offers from Marquette, Iowa State, and Minnesota, think you could see Momcilovic blow up over the next few months.
Prentice Young Prentice Young 6'4" | CG Wisconsin Lutheran | 2023 State #273 Nation WI – 2023 – G – Wisconsin Lutheran
Young played the best that I’ve seen since his injury. Probably still not 100 percent in terms of his movement on the floor, but Young was able to assert himself in a high level game. In the first half, Young was able to hit some shots and generate some steals to keep the Vikings in the game. Young finished with 10 points, six rebounds, and two assists. Scoring in double figures in each of his last four games, Young appears to be coming back into form. A big reason why I always liked him — versatility and a well-rounded game. At 6-foot-4, Young can play the point guard spot effectively and impact the game on both ends of the floor while contributing across the board.
