The Tigers collected a quality win in the opening round of regional play. After that, the Tigers ran into Winner who ended up playing in the State Tournament. The Tigers have some nice young players that will keep improving and will have Mobridge-Pollock ready to take a step up next season. Expect the Tigers to have a great offseason and to continue growing as a team and individually. Read below for stats, coach Knudson comments, and updated stats and scores. Go Tigers!

Tiger Talk with coach Thomas Knudson
PHD: What were some of the highlights of the season?
Coach Knudson: “One highlight was our weekly improvement from the start of the season to the end. We also were excited about winning our first-round region game against Eagle Butte.”
PHD: Which players improved the most for you this season and what did they improve on?
Coach Knudson: “ Thane Beheler Thane Beheler 6'4" | SF Standing Rock | 2024 State ND was voted by his teammates as the most improved player this season. He was also voted as our “Sixth Man”. His overall gameplay and decision-making were noticed by everyone.”
PHD: Who were a few of your hardest workers and what did they do well?
Coach Knudson: “Trent Schmeichel was voted “Mr. Hustle”. He worked extremely hard at practice and during our games.”
PHD: Who was your best practice player and why?
Coach Knudson: “Holden Eisemann – He had consistent work ethic all year. He is smart and is like having another coach in the gym. He has a great balance of discipline and competitiveness. Holden has a high basketball IQ and is fun to watch play the game.”
PHD: Who were some of your key bench players?
Coach Knudson: “ Thane Beheler Thane Beheler 6'4" | SF Standing Rock | 2024 State ND , Michael Wald, Holden Eisemann and Shane Henderson.”
PHD: Can you make a few comments about the seniors that you are losing?
Coach Knudson: “We are losing Ashton Pfitzer – Voted team MVP, Top Rebounder, and Steal Champ. Trent Schmeichel – Mr. Hustle and also won the Sportsmanship Award. Brady Bauer – he was voted “defensive player of the year” by his teammates. Brady is a great lockdown defender.“

Coach Knudson: “Key returning players – Juniors, Holden Eisemann, Coy Hinsz and Turner Pfitzer. Sophomores Thane Beheler Thane Beheler 6'4" | SF Standing Rock | 2024 State ND (6.2 PPG), Michael Wald (5.9 PPG), Simon Fried, and Kody Keller. Freshmen, Shane Henderson and Jackson Eisemann Jackson Eisemann 5'10" | PG Mobridge-Pollock | 2025 State SD (11.5 PPG).”
