Daniel Egbuniwe

FACS | 2022
State
TN
(FACS)
FILM:
State Champion. State Tournament MVP. What is clear from this film, along with his state tournament run, is Egbuniwe’s versatility. His powerful legs help him rebound like a big and slash like a wing. Few players matched up with him in any meaningful way. For FACS, Egbuniwe was a steady, formidable post defender. No forward is more college-ready. Confident. Capable.
TJ Thomas (FACS)
FILM:
State Champion. Thomas was a two-way player. Athletic slasher TJ demonstrated a wild agility. He smoothly chopped up defenses. With Thomas a college basketball program will get an unselfish scorer, a guard capable of scoring 12-15, yet self-assured enough to compliment 1-2 leading scorers. Thomas looks only modestly strong and the weight room will serve him well. Thomas’ rebounding looks like an area of growth considering his quick bounce and strong albeit growing frame.

The film on Cameron is very brief, and there is quite a lot of film playback manipulation for effect. It is possible to see he can change directions well. Cameron’s large stride separated Jim from very quick defenders in his district. Cowering from contact was not part of his game.
