Jamiir Allen Jamiir Allen 6'0" | CG Wisconsin Lutheran | 2023 State WI – G – Wisconsin Lutheran/ABC Young Lions
Allen quietly had one of the better junior seasons in the state. The lefty just keeps defenders guessing when he’s on the ball and often puts people on skates. An efficient isolation scorer, Allen averaged 14 points and three assists per game for a very deep 25-3 Wisconsin Lutheran squad.
Demarion Burch Demarion Burch 6'3" | SG Milwaukee Hamilton | 2023 State WI – SG – Milwaukee Hamilton/Wisconsin Playmakers
Big, athletic wing who can run the floor and own the game in transition, Burch had a monster junior season for Hamilton. As a junior, Burch posted 30 points, seven rebounds, and five assists per game. Burch is a big-time downhill scorer that can play bully ball. If you’re not willing to match his physicality and will to get to the rim, then just get off the tracks.
Tyran Cook Tyran Cook 6'1" | SG Waukesha South | 2023 State WI – SG – Waukesha South/Team Haliburton
Cook has the makings of a big time scorer at the next level. Given his blend of size (6-3), strength, and athleticism, Cook can create and knock down shots at a high level. Moving into the top 15 of the rankings, Cook averaged 23 points and eight rebounds per game last season. Think there’s some under the radar two-way ability as well. Last season, Cook proved to be a willing defender who can generate stops as well.
Caleb Glaser Caleb Glaser 6'6" | SF Appleton East | 2023 State WI – PF – Appleton East/Wisconsin Crusaders
Love the trajectory that Glaser is on and he’s without a doubt one of the fastest-rising players in the state. There’s probably just one other junior in the state that has as good of footwork as Glaser does in the post. The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 16 points and five rebounds for Appleton East last season. Glaser is getting more confident on the ball as well, able to size defenders up and take them off the dribble. Also an outstanding rim protector, Glaser times shots about as well as any forward in the state. Division 2 schools should be lining up in a hurry here.
Tyson Keil Tyson Keil 6'6" | PF Appleton East | 2023 State WI – F – Appleton East/Wisconsin Crusaders
Division 3 and even perhaps Division 2 programs that are in need of a junkyard dog, look no further. Keil is an exceptional athlete that explodes off the floor. Get him the ball near the rim and it’s almost always a dunk. Keil is going to set a tone defensively by sending shots back with authority. Keil can also step out and shoot the ball a bit if left open. Keil shot an impressive 59 percent from the floor last season, including 40 percent from 3-point range on limited attempts.
John Kinziger John Kinziger 6'0" | CG De Pere | 2023 State #257 Nation WI – G – De Pere/Team Herro
Think Kinziger can really load up on mid-major scholarship offers this spring/summer. A lethal scorer with quickness, in-the-gym-range, and a ton of skill, Kinziger is coming off a junior season in which he averaged 21 points and four assists per game while playing alongside another D1 prospect. Kinziger is just a machine, not only as a scorer, but the way he moves without the ball. He’s going to give defenders fits with his shot-making, but Kinziger is willing to run through countless screens and just tire his defender out. Toledo has an early offer out to the 5-foot-11 sniper.
Milan Momcilovic Milan Momcilovic 6'8" | SF Pewaukee | 2023 State #44 Nation WI – F – Pewaukee/Team Herro
Iowa State and Minnesota are really prioritizing Momcilovic. Marquette also has an offer on the table. Some schools have different ideas on what Momcilovic is at the next level in terms of being a small forward or a stretch forward, but the kid can absolutely play. At 6-foot-8, Momcilovic is so dangerous on the block and can score in a variety of ways. He’s extremely skilled and has all the tools to generate an unblockable look. Also an excellent pick n’ pop threat, Momcilovic is a dangerous outside shooter who can tear teams apart from downtown.
Robert Peters Robert Peters 6'8" | PF West Allis Hale | 2023 State WI – PF – West Allis Hale/24 Up
Loved what I saw from Peters this season and think he’s really starting to develop. The 6-foot-8 forward is a physically imposing prospect, but has gotten better and better as not only a back-to-the-basket scoring threat, but a versatile player who can pull people away from the rim as well. Peters should be an easy Division 2 offer with his measurables. Division 1 programs are going to want to watch closely as well.
