Most Valuable Player
Rob Martin Rob Martin 5'9" | PG CBC | 2022 State MO (CBC): The 5’10″ 2022 Indiana State recruit was dominant in leading the Cadets to the state championship. He averaged 24.5 points a game in the Final Four, including a 29-point performance against Chaminade in the semifinals. In the championship game, he scored 16 of his 18 points in the first half against Nixa.
All-Tournament First Team
Larry Hughes Jr. (CBC): The 6’5″ 2022 guard averaged 16.5 points and made five of his eight 3-pointers in the Final Four to help the Cadets to the state title. He scored a game-high 20 points in the Cadets’ victory over Nixa in the state championship game.
John Bol John Bol 7'1" | C Overtime Elite (GA) | 2024 #52 Nation GA (CBC): The 7’2″ 2024 center had a big impact at both ends of the court for the state champions. He averaged 10 points, 7.5 rebounds and five blocked shots in the two Final Four games.
Colin Ruffin Colin Ruffin 6'3" | PG Nixa | 2022 State MO (Nixa): The 6’4″ 2022 guard averaged 13.5 points, four rebounds and two assists in the Final Four to lead the Eagles to a runner-up finish. He had 18 points and made three 3-pointers in the victory over Staley in the state semifinals.
Kayden Fish Kayden Fish 6'7" | PF Staley | 2023 State #181 Nation MO (Staley): The 6’6″ 2023 forward averaged 17 points and 4.5 rebounds in the Final Four to lead the Falcons to a third-place finish. The Big Fish had 18 points and eight rebounds in the victory over Chaminade in the third-place game.
Nate Straughter Nate Straughter 6'3" | SG Chaminade | 2022 State MO (Chaminade): The 6’3″ 2022 guard averaged 16.5 points in the Final Four for the fourth-place Red Devils. He had 24 points, three rebounds and four steals in the semifinals against CBC.
