No. 56 Jaevian Alston Jaevian Alston 6'6" | SF Word of God Varsity | 2025 State NC | 6’6 Forward/Wing | Wake Forest High
Alston is an emerging name to know over at Wake Forest High with a ton of potential as a versatile scoring threat and defender on the hardwood. He’s a name that produced 10.2 ppg, 5.2 rpg and 1.4 spg while showing off an ability to finish around the rim and knock down shots off the wing. He’s an emerging athletic name to keep eyes on over the next few seasons at Wake Forest.
No. 60 Unique Kelly Unique Kelly 5'11" | PG West Columbus | 2024 State NC | 5’11 Point Guard | West Columbus High
Kelly is a smooth operator at the point guard spot in the West Columbus High lineup in the 2024 class. He had quite the breakout sophomore season with 19.4 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 2.8 spg and 2.6 apg as quite the volume scorer for the Vikings. As he shows off his development from an efficiency standpoint, look for his name to grow in the class.
No. 71 Devin Sims Devin Sims 6'5" | SF The Burlington School | 2025 State NC | 6’5 Wing/Forward | Hillside High
Sims is another emerging sizeable name to know in the 2024 class over at Hillside High. He’s a prospect that produced 9.8 ppg, 8.5 rpg and 1.5 spg as a two-way presence in the frontcourt and on the wing for the Hornets as they went 19-5 on the season. As he shows off his development over the next few seasons, he’s a prospect to watch with nice upside.
No. 82 Chris Rhodes Chris Rhodes 5'11" | CG Farmville Central | 2024 State NC | 5’11 Guard | Farmville Central High
Rhodes is a combo guard threat that provides quite the energy as a defender and shooter on the perimeter for the Farmville Central Jaguars. He’s been a solid reserve in their varsity rotation in 2021-22 while posting 4.9 ppg and showing off his ability to force turnovers. He’ll be a young name to keep an eye on in this year’s NCHSAA 2A State Finals against a scrappy Robinson High squad.
No. 85 Tyree White Tyree White 6'0" | PG Covenant Day | 2025 State NC | 5’10 Point Guard | Sun Valley High
White is a new face in the Sun Valley High rotation that’s worth knowing after earning all-conference honors in his sophomore season. He averaged 17.8 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 3.6 apg and 2.7 spg while leading his squad to a 16-11 record. He’ll be a name to keep an eye on as a breakout prospect on the grassroots scene this spring/summer.
