No. 6 Kany Tchanda Kany Tchanda 6'9" | C Sunrise Christian Academy | 2024 #295 Nation NC | 6’9 Forward/Center | Concord Academy
Tchanda was a pivotal presence in the Concord Academy frontcourt as they made a late run in the NCISAA State Playoffs capped off by a championship as they saved their best for last. He posted 15.0 ppg, 8.7 rpg and 1.6 bpg as an inside-out presence with a ton of upside. Charlotte and Morgan State have already extended offers in his direction.
No. 20 Michael Marcus Jr Michael Marcus Jr 6'9" | C Covenant Day | 2024 State NC | 6’8 Center | Covenant Day School
Marcus is an intriguing big man prospect in the Covenant Day rotation to keep an eye on after a productive season. He’s still finding his way on the interior but he’s already proven he can hold his own as a rebounder and rim-protector in the class. He finished the year with 9.5 ppg, 5.3 rpg and 3.3 apg while showing off his ability to make plays out the post. He’s a young big man to keep an eye on.
No. 29 Jayan Walker Jayan Walker 6'5" | SG Combine Academy | 2024 State NC | 6’5 Guard/Wing | Jordan High
Walker had quite the productive season with the Jordan High Falcons while playing the lead guard role. He averaged 11.9 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.6 apg and 1.4 spg as one of their scoring threats in the rotation as they made a run in the NCHSAA State Playoffs. As he shows off his ability to knock down shots on the perimeter, he’ll turn heads given what he can do.
No. 41 Jaylen Wilkerson Jaylen Wilkerson 6'0" | CG Walkertown | 2024 State NC | 5’11 Shooting Guard | Walkertown High
Wilkerson was a productive 2024 prospect in the varsity rotation for Walkertown High in 2021-22. He produced 15.4 ppg, 2.6 rpg and 1.9 apg while shooting 50 percent from the field and 52 percent from behind the arc. He knocked down 56 3-pointers in his sophomore season, a number that should grow going forward as he continues to develop.
No. 44 Santana Lynch Santana Lynch 6'4" | SG Lake Norman | 2024 State NC | 6’3 Point Guard | Myers Park High
Lynch is an emerging floor general for Myers Park High that fared well at the backup point guard role in 2021-22. He put up 6.6 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.3 apg and 1.3 spg while showing off his ability to do more than score on a team that featured big man Elijah Strong Elijah Strong 6'8" | PF Myers Park | 2023 State #230 Nation NC and shooters like Sam Walters. He’s a name to keep an eye on this spring/summer given his ability to make things happen as a floor general.
No. 50 Carlos Vazquez Carlos Vazquez 6'5" | SF Wayne Country Day | 2024 State NC | 6’5 Forward/Wing | Wayne Country Day School
Vazquez showed off his versatility in 2021-22 at Wayne Country Day School. He’s a 6-foot-5 prospect with a ton of promise as a rebounder, shooter and defender. He plays with a ton of energy and uses his length to snag rebounds as he did all season to the tune of 8,6 ppg, 6.8 rpg and 2.6 apg. Look for his role to expand after he shot 70 percent inside the arc this past season.
No. 55 Cam Flippen Cam Flippen 6'2" | PG The Burlington School | 2025 State NC | 6’0 Point Guard | Dudley High
Flippen was the leading name in the Dudley High rotation as they went 11-3 in league play this past season under his lead. He produced 13.9 ppg, 3.5 apg and 2.7 rpg while shooting 43 percent from the field and 32 percent from 3-point land. He’s a quick guard with a ton of promise as a playmaker and passer out of the Greensboro area.
No. 59 Isaiah Otyaluk Isaiah Otyaluk 6'7" | SF Word Of God | 2024 State NC | 6’7 Forward | NC GBBA Regional
Otyaluk is a new face in the NC GBBA Regional rotation that’s faring well as quite the presence in the frontcourt. He’s a prospect that can operate inside and out and is beginning to find his own as a slasher and finisher around the rim. He’s posted 10.0 ppg and 3.8 rpg as he continues to draw interest from a few college programs as a rising name.
