25) Curtis Allen Curtis Allen 6'2" | SF Prince George | 2022 State VA | 6’3” | Prince George (#80 Overall)
Allen has quietly been one of the best players in the Richmond area over the past few years, and he’s had a very good senior season with a couple of big time scoring performances. He’s a well built wing who has got his body right and looks much more athletic, he can really shoot it from deep off the catch and can get hot quickly and he can rebound well and do the dirty work as well.
24) Davien Banks Davien Banks 6'2" | SG LC Bird | 2022 State VA | 6’2” | LC Bird (#71 Overall)
Banks has developed nicely since being thrown in the fire as a sophomore with this Bird team, and he has had a very good senior season for a Bird team that should compete for a state championship this year. He’s the classic 3-and-d guy who can really shoot it from deep with good range and consistency, he’s really improved as a defender and is willing to take on the other team’s best perimeter player and he’s a capable secondary ball handler and playmaker too.
23) Piercen Young Piercen Young 6'4" | SG Virginia Episcopal | 2022 State VA | 6’3” | Virginia Episcopal School (#70 Overall)
While Young dealt with some injury issues in the past few years, the 6’3” Lynchburg native is back and healthy now and he decided to stay home and commit to play at Lynchburg University next year. At his size he’s the type of player that can play and guard multiple positions, he has an all-around skill set offensively and knows the game very well and he plays with great heart and a good motor as well.
22) Michael Cooper Michael Cooper 6'3" | SF Woodbridge | 2022 State VA | 6’3” | Woodbridge (#68 Overall)
Cooper is the type of player that is very recruitable because he doesn’t have very much of a floor, as he will always bring you a defensive mindset, high motor and will find ways to be productive when he’s on the floor. He’s a good athlete who can get downhill and play above the rim, he can make shots from multiple levels and can play on the ball to get downhill and he’s always going to rebound and defend as well.
21) Jayden Evans Jayden Evans 6'5" | SF Walsingham | 2022 State VA | 6’5” | Hampton Christian (#66 Overall)
Evans has steadily come into his own as a junior at Walsingham and this summer with Big Shots VA before transferring to Hampton Christian, but it almost seems like he’s still just scratching the surface with how good he will be moving forward. The 6’5” wing has a good frame with long arms and is a good athlete, he thrives in transition with his ability to get out and run the floor and finish and he has a ton of potential on the defensive end as well.
20) Travon Gray | 6’5” | Peninsula Catholic (#57 Overall)
While we list Gray as a wing, he’s more of a positionless player who can do a little bit of everything on the floor and that’s what makes him so dangerous. At 6’5” he can play in transition and handle the rock and get to the rim, he can guard multiple positions and has very good athleticism and he rebounds like a big man and is very productive in a number of ways consistently.
19) Dashawn Goodwyn | 6’4” | George Wythe (#55 Overall)
Goodwyn is a prospect that is way under the radar, as he has good size as a two guard and can fill it up with the best of them with his ability to shoot the basketball at such a high clip. He’s a set shooter who is always moving and can get set quickly, he has range well beyond the NBA line and is a very confident shooter who will let it fly and can get hot quickly and he can put up big numbers when he gets it going.
18) Chris Brown Chris Brown 6'5" | SG Peninsula Catholic | 2022 State VA | 6’3” | Peninsula Catholic (#51 Overall)
One of the most talented two way wings in the 757, Brown has a mix of athleticism and versatility in his game that makes him very hard to game plan for. He’s really improved in his ability to create space off the bounce and make tough shots from multiple levels, he can get downhill where he can finish at or above the rim or make plays for others and defensively he’s good both guarding the basketball and coming help side to contest shots with his bounce.
17) Georges Archer Georges Archer 6'4" | SF Princess Anne | 2022 State VA | 6’4” | Princess Anne (#50 Overall)
Archer has developed into one of the best players in the 757 and is a candidate for Beach District POY this year after a huge senior season, and he is an impressive long term prospect moving forward. He’s a well built wing who has explosive athleticism around the rim, he’s improved as an outside shooter and can score it from multiple levels and he consistently produces on both ends of the floor.
16) Greg Williams Greg Williams 6'4" | SF VA Academy | 2022 State VA | 6’4” | VA Academy (#45 Overall)
Wiliams is part of a VA Academy team that has a number of under the radar recruits, and he’s been one of the top players in NOVA during his senior season. The 6’4” lefty is projected as a 3-and-d guy moving forward as he can really knock down shots from deep, he moves his feet well and has good instincts on the defensive end and he’s a good secondary ball handler and decision maker as well.
