Top performers from OG Winter Classic

The OG Winter Classic featured just two games after one had to be cancelled due to the snowstorm, but fans were still treated to two competitive battles. Antwerp came back from a halftime deficit to beat Dayton Dunbar and host Ottawa-Glandorf beat Harvest Prep on a buzzer-beater from Colin White Colin White 6'5" | SG Ottawa Glandorf | 2024 State #156 Nation OH . Here were the top performers from the event.
Jagger Landers Jagger Landers 6'7" | PF Antwerp | 2022 State OH , 6’7 PF Antwerp 2022: Landers put the team on his back against Dayton Dunbar by grabbing almost every key rebound and simply refusing to let his team lose. After an average first half where he left some points on the board with missed close shots and free-throws, Landers was sensational in the second half by knocking down a few 3-pointers when he was finally able to get some space to shoot and getting and-1 putbacks. Landers is probably a Division I level talent that Findlay was able to keep close to home, it’s a reason why Findlay has had sustained success.
Antaune Allen Antaune Allen 6'2" | CG Dunbar | 2023 State OH , 6’1 CG Dunbar 2023: Allen had a great first half, knocking down jumpers from a variety of locations. Allen had some nice combo of dribble moves to get into his shots and also thrives in transition. Allen is establishing himself as a scholarship level prospect and should get a lot of looks this spring and summer.
Colin White Colin White 6'5" | SG Ottawa Glandorf | 2024 State #156 Nation OH , 6’4 SG Ottawa-Glandorf 2024: White won the game with a buzzer-beating layup after battling with an ankle injury for most of the second half. It was good to see White play against a team that plays more defensive pressure than he usually sees in NW Ohio. White had some impressive moments including a backdoor cut to a slam dunk in the half-court. White is clearly one of the top prospects in Ohio’s 2024 class and will likely get a lot of interest from mid major programs around the region.
Nyelle Shaheed Nyelle Shaheed 6'5" | C Harvest Prep | 2023 State OH , 6’5 PF Harvest Prep 2023: Shaheed had a productive game by mostly doing his damage on the offensive glass. Shaheed had a huge rebound on a missed free-throw that gave Harvest Prep their last lead of the game. Shaheed always plays with a high motor and has improved his straight-line speed to allow him to occasionally beat opposing defenders down the court. Shaheed also knows his role and usually doesn’t try and do things he isn’t capable of with the ball in his hands.
Theo Maag Theo Maag 6'6" | C Ottawa-Glandorf | 2023 State OH , 6’6 C Ottawa-Glandorf 2023: Maag had an impressive dunk and competed well on the glass for the Titans. His most impressive skill was his quick feet defending guards on switches throughout the game. Maag didn’t look to shoot the ball on the outside so I’m not sure if that’s in his skillset, but he’ll be a valued big target for local Division III programs starting this summer.
