Jack Campion Jack Campion 5'10" | PG Milton | 2022 State WI – 2022 – PG – Milton
Campion had 16 points and six assists on his senior night. The electrifying floor general was probably defended as well as we’ve seen in a high school setting, but at times, it just didn’t matter. Campion’s speed on the ball is unmatched in the state and few across the country can replicate it. Even against a packed in zone, Campion has the ability to get through even the tightest of gaps. Even when he’s not scoring, Campion is so in-tune with the other four guys on the floor. The ball movement is just noticeably different when he’s on the floor.
Ty Fernholz Ty Fernholz 6'2" | SG Stoughton | 2024 State WI – 2024 – SG – Stoughton
Fernholz didn’t have his best night, but showed why he’s a top 15 prospect in the state. Campion spent a lot of time defending Fernholz and just wasn’t gonna let him get anything easy. Like how Fernholz understands how to get himself out of a funk though. When he’s not shooting well or struggling to find rhythm jumpers, the 6-foot-2 guard knows to start working inside-out. You’ll see him take guards into the post and just try and get something easy in order to get himself going. There’s obvious three-level scoring ability here, including a new face-up game in the mid-range. Fernholz is one of the best in the state at moving and freeing himself without the basketball. When coming off screens, he’s always shoulder-to-shoulder with his teammate and not going to do the defender any favors.
Ayden Goll – 2024 – G – Milton
Goll had one of his better performances of the season. A big reason why Campion had six assists was the shooting of Goll. The sophomore guard delivered from deep when Campion had to give the ball up, hitting four 3-pointers. Goll was also able to mix in a running floater when defenders closed too hard. An undersized, but skilled guard, Goll is smooth and decisive off the dribble. If he has his shot, Goll will let it fly. If not, he dribbles with a purpose and the ball doesn’t stick to his hands. Without Goll’s 17 points, definitely could have been a much different game Monday night as Stoughton did a fantastic job defensively.
