Jesse McCulloch Jesse McCulloch 6'9" | PF Lutheran East | 2024 State #136 Nation OH , 6’8 C Lutheran East 2024: McCulloch is the big riser across the state, maybe among all classes this season. He’s improved his body by becoming slimmer and stronger and is looking much more confident on the court. McCulloch can space the floor as he’s an underrated 3-point shooter and has good feel for passing from the post. This is a likely high major prospect that should see his stock with college coaches explode this spring and summer.
Jesse Burris Jesse Burris 6'4" | SF Delaware Hayes | 2024 State #297 Nation OH , 6’4 SF Delaware Hayes 2024: Good year for guys named Jesse I guess? Burris is the second stock riser after he has broken out as a Sophomore for Delaware Hayes, scoring over 20 PPG. Burris is a shot maker who has solid burst from the triple threat position. Not the type of athlete to throw it down on somebody, but Burris gets to his spots and can change speeds to keep defenders on their heels. I think Burris will look even better this spring and summer when surrounded by better teammates than he has during the high school season.
Alex Bruskotter Alex Bruskotter 6'7" | PF Shelby | 2024 State #316 Nation OH , 6’6 PF Shelby 2024: After graduating one of the best players in school history last season, Shelby has another elite prospect that could be even better. Bruskotter is a stretch big man who had a great 15 U summer for C2K elite, now committed to play for the Ohio Buckets, it’ll be fascinating to see him work with Colin White Colin White 6'5" | SG Ottawa Glandorf | 2024 State #156 Nation OH as the pair could be one of the best 16 U duos in the state. Bruskotter is putting up big numbers as an underclassman and should continue to improve as he gets stronger and more explosive in the weight room.
Delamarr Blanton Delamarr Blanton 6'0" | CG Trotwood Madison | 2024 State OH , 6’0 CG Trotwood-Madison 2024: Blanton had a great showing at Flyin To The Hoop and was one of the first players in this class to earn a Division I offer after the game. Blanton plays at a blistering fast pace and should thrive at a school that wants to push the pace and full court press. Blanton is a streaky shooter who can get hot and draws a lot of attention from the defense when the ball is in his hands, making his passing reads easier. I’ll be excited to continue to follow the development of Blanton and the rest of Trotwood’s talented 2024 class.
