Take a look at Part I of the unsigned Point Guard prospects in the rankings.
No. 2 Elijah Jamison Elijah Jamison 6'3" | PG Liberty Heights | 2022 State #204 Nation NC | 6’3 | Liberty Heights
Jamison is a point guard that can score and distribute, depending on the situation, making him quite the floor general. He has the ability to control the pace with his ability to get to the paint and make things happen and can knock down shots when needed. As he finishes out the season, he’ll be a top name to keep an eye on in the 2022 class with a decision on the horizon.
No. 16 Juanse Gorosito Juanse Gorosito 6'2" | PG Denver Prep | 2022 State NC | 6’2 | Denver Prep (CO)
Gorosito is a former import that’s over at Denver Prep in Colorado and is set to make a decision on a school on March 2. He’s a floor general prospect with a high IQ for making plays off the bounce with his crisp handle and passing ability. He can knock down shots on all three levels as well and has the ability to take over games at will. He’s got a bright future ahead of him at the next level.
No. 27 Evan Smith Evan Smith 6'4" | PG Ardrey Kell | 2022 State NC | 6’4 | Ardrey Kell
Smith is an unsigned point guard with a nice feel for controlling the pace of the game for the Ardrey Kell High Knights. He’s produced 15.3 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 3.8 apg and 1.3 spg as they approach conference tournament play this week. He’s improved his shooting from the 3-point arc as he’s shooting 41 percent in 2021-22 after shooting 17 percent in 2020-21, while maintaining his ability to still attack the paint (51 percent shooting from the field). Schools at the D1 and D2 levels should take a look at what he can do. He holds offers from Catawba, Belmont Abbey and The Citadel already.
No. 33 Camian Shell Camian Shell 5'10" | PG Winston-Salem Christian | 2022 State NC | 5’10 | Winston-Salem Christian
Shell is another unsigned point guard prospect with a ton of promise in the 2022 ranks in the state. He’s a quick, sharp floor general that gets to his spots in the paint and can knock down shots when needed. Don’t let his size deter you, he plays big and has room to put on size with a strength-and-conditioning coach at the next level. He’s a prospect that LM D1s and HM D2s could benefit from taking an eye on.
No. 34 Jaquantae Harris Jaquantae Harris 6'1" | PG Northwood Temple | 2022 State NC | 6’1 | Northwood Temple

He’s shooting 54 percent from the field and 45 percent from behind the arc while showing his all-around growth as a shooter in 2021-22. He’ll look to make a splash in this year’s NCISAA 2A State Playoffs as a No. 3 seed in the East field this week.
No. 38 Logan Threatt Logan Threatt 6'3" | PG Carmel Christian | 2022 State NC | 6’3 | Carmel Christian

He’s put up 11.3 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 3.5 apg and 1.5 spg as their leader in the backcourt, making quite the 1-2 punch with Cade Tyson Cade Tyson 6'6" | SG Carmel Christian | 2022 State NC (Belmont). He holds offers from Hampton, USC Upstate and UNC-Wilmington with more surely to come as Carmel Christian makes their run in the NCISAA 4A State Playoffs. They hold a double-bye and won’t play until the quarterfinals.
No. 42 Zaharee Maddox Zaharee Maddox 6'0" | PG Davie County | 2022 State NC | 6’0 | Davie County
Maddox is a high-level scoring floor general that uses his speed and ball-handling ability. He’s deceptively quick with the ball in his hands and keeps defenders guessing with his high-level court vision. He’s an impressive and underrecruited point guard prospect with a ton of promise in the 2022 class in the state.
