Top Players to Watch
6’0 PG Sam Sivulich Sam Sivulich 5'11" | PG Northridge | 2022 State UT || Northridge High School || 2022 ||
Excited to see this prospect play at the collegiate level and watch him continue to elevate his game. Could end up here locally at Utah State Eastern too.
6’3 G Mason Bendinger Mason Bendinger 6'3" | CG Woods Cross | 2023 State UT || Woods Cross High School || 2023 ||
Mason has been as advertised with his game that is really developing and he is comfortable out there deferring when he has to and being assertive when he needs to. A lot of upside for this D1 prospect.
6’3 G Carson Jones Carson Jones 6'3" | CG Bonneville | 2022 State UT || Box Elder HighSchool || 2022 ||
Carson is a beast as he does major damage inside the arc with a high motor and eye for the ball. Good touch and a solid mid-range.
6’5 SF Jackson McKee Jackson McKee 6'6" | PF Box Elder | 2023 State UT || Box Elder High School || 2023 ||
Jackson is an energy guy that can gout and get you some double-doubles and he uses his fundamentals to get what he needs.
6’3 G Radek Pulsipher Radek Pulsipher 6'2" | CG Viewmont | 2022 State UT || Viewmont High School || 2022 ||
Flashes of some great play asa stat stuffer that doe sit all.
Surprise Players
6’0 PG Jaxon Smith Jaxon Smith 6'1" | PG Woods Cross | 2023 State UT || Woods Cross High School || 2023 ||
Jaxon has really found his niche as a scoring PG that moves the ball up the floor in a hurry. He can walk into three-pointers, he can hit from deep and he can come off of both sides to get his shots up. Has been getting better in that mid-rang pull-up area and he is figuring out how he can get to the rim. Solid talent with some cold blooded range.
6’4 W Carson Smith Carson Smith 6'6" | CG Bountiful | 2024 State UT || Bountiful High School || 2024 ||
Young talent that has a lot of upside as he has a lot of IQ to go with his solid level of play. He rebounds at a high level and he can shoot from deep.
Overview
Region 5 could likely have a three-way tie at the end of the day. That is how competitive this region is. If Woods Cross gets rolling they could really hurt some teams in the playoffs.
