#99 Braxton Caruthers Braxton Caruthers 5'9" | PG Blackman | 2022 State TN (Blackman)
Braxton was featured heavily followed by Assignment Reporter Will Carter. in the following story. Reported by Will Carter: Caruthers is similar to Bass in the sense of being an undersized guard, but his energy makes up for it. While he only finished with ten points, it was his court vision that stood out. On multiple occasions, he was able to fit a pass into a tight window for his teammates to finish. Caurthers has a quick first step he uses to blow by defenders to either finish at the rim or get an assist. He doesn’t take many shots from outside the paint, but he has a fluid form that helps from beyond the arc.”
#100 Mason Hanback Mason Hanback 7'0" | C George Washington University Highschool | 2022 State TN (Memphis East)
The true seven-footer, Mason Hanback Mason Hanback 7'0" | C George Washington University Highschool | 2022 State TN spent much of the last year with Tennessee Prep, and largely outside our watchful eye. He now is dressing for Memphis East, though not starting. His chest is filling out and the upper body muscle is starting to show. It is so difficult for tall, young hoopers to get visible upper body development and Mason is above 8-12 inches taller and less compact than most basketball players. So, for him to get that good weight on now shows dedication.
