10. Cape Fear Academy (16-3)

Cape Fear Academy is the newest team in the latest edition of NCISAA Top 10 Power Rankings as they’re riding a 10-game winning streak. Unsigned senior Chatham Lambiotte Chatham Lambiotte 6'6" | PF Cape Fear Academy | 2022 State NC is one name to know with this group. They’ll close the regular season out on Monday night against unbeaten New Hanover.
9. Charlotte Latin School (19-3)
Last Rank: 5th
Charlotte Latin School moves to the sixth spot in the NCISAA Top 10 Power Rankings following two losses to Providence Day School since the last edition of rankings. Sharpshooter Ned Hull Ned Hull 6'2" | PG Charlotte Latin | 2023 State NC and versatile forward Brock Rose Brock Rose 6'6" | SG Florida Coastal Prep | 2024 State NC continue to develop while Brandon Lavitt Brandon Lavitt 6'5" | SF Charlotte Latin | 2022 State NC (Shenandoah) sets the tone as their glue guy. They’ll close out their schedule against Cannon School (2/8) and Covenant Day (2/11) before their conference tournament.
8. Wayne Country Day School (21-6)

Wayne Country Day School has had a solid season led by Collin Tanner Collin Tanner 6'6" | SF Combine Academy | 2023 State NC , Jordan Cooper Jordan Cooper 6'1" | CG Wayne Country Day | 2023 State NC , Nayshin Waller Nayshin Waller 6'3" | CG Wayne Country Day | 2023 State NC , Kayleb Coles Kayleb Coles 6'6" | PF Wayne Country Day | 2024 State NC and Carlos Vasquez. They’ve built quite the chemistry as a young group that should play well together in the future. They’ll look to avenge their most recent loss to Greenfield School in a potential rematch in the finals on Friday but they’ll need to get through Wayne Christian on Thursday first.
7. Greenfield School (23-5)

Greenfield School continues to climb up the power rankings following their 11th consecutive victory over Wayne Country Day School to go unbeaten in Coastal Plain Conference play. Aaron Murphy Aaron Murphy 6'5" | SF Greenfield | 2022 State NC (Queens) is a fundamentally-sound prospect that continues to have a strong senior campaign. 2023s Matt Kirby Matt Kirby 5'11" | PG Greenfield | 2024 State NC , Kyshon Atkinson Kyshon Atkinson 5'11" | CG Greenfield | 2022 State NC and Kobe Edwards are having strong seasons in the backcourt as they begin their conference tournament this week.
6. Greensboro Day School (26-3)

Greensboro Day School drops to the sixth spot in the power rankings after a loss to Trinity Academy Raleigh, 44-42, this past Thursday. They’ve still got a solid group with Nikolas Graves Nikolas Graves 6'3" | PG Greensboro Day | 2022 State NC (Charlotte), Michael Zanoni Michael Zanoni 6'5" | SG Greensboro Day | 2022 State NC (Mercer), CJ Collins (Princeton) and Jackson Noble Jackson Noble 6'7" | C Greensboro Day | 2022 State NC (Navy) along with 2023s Jaydon Young Jaydon Young 6'4" | CG Greensboro Day | 2023 State #206 Nation NC and Julius Reese Jr Julius Reese Jr 6'3" | CG Greensboro Day | 2023 State NC .. They’ve got a three-game week to close the regular season out with Westchester Country Day on Tuesday and Thursday then High Point Christian Academy on Friday.
5. Providence Day School (20-5)

Providence Day School finds itself in the Top 5 of this week’s edition of power rankings as they continue to rack up wins. They’ve won seven games in a row and counting following their last loss against Cannon School on Jan. 11. Quave Propst-Allison Quave Propst-Allison 6'0" | PG Providence Day | 2022 State NC and Bryce Scott Bryce Scott 6'6" | SF Providence Day | 2022 State NC remain as some top unsigned names to know in this group in the 2022 class. Covenant Day (2/8) and Charlotte Christian (2/11) will close out their regular-season slate.
4. Gaston Day School (21-3)

Gaston Day School finds themselves just inside the Top 5 at No. 4 following a pair of losses to Metrolina Christian (1/20) and Northside Christian Academy on Feb. 4. They’re still in good shape as unsigned senior Chris Britt Chris Britt 5'10" | PG Ashbrook | 2022 State NC leads the charge with Colin Fayed Colin Fayed 6'1" | SG Gaston Day | 2023 State NC , Evan Montanari Evan Montanari 6'2" | SG Gaston Day | 2023 State NC and Callum Richard Callum Richard 6'11" | C Gaston Day | 2023 State NC in tow. They’ll begin their conference tournament on Tuesday against Hickory Grove Christian in the first round.

Coach Ryan Bernardi has his group on the right track as they head into the conference tournament and state playoffs looking to repeat as NCISAA 2A champions. 2. Trinity Academy Raleigh (17-3)

Trinity Academy Raleigh makes the leap from No. 6 into the No. 2 spot following a close 44-42 victory over Greensboro Day School on Feb. 3. They followed that up with a victory over Burlington Christian Academy on Friday, 83-64. They’ll square off against Ravenscroft tonight to close out their regular-season schedule.

Carmel Christian finds themselves as the new No. 1 in the NCISAA Rankings following victories over The Burlington School, Wesleyan Christian Academy and Charlotte Christian heading into the 5th edition. They’ve been steady with Belmont signee Cade Tyson Cade Tyson 6'6" | SG Carmel Christian | 2022 State NC and unsigned seniors Logan Threatt Logan Threatt 6'3" | PG Carmel Christian | 2022 State NC and Nyles Howard Nyles Howard 6'4" | CG Davidson Day | 2022 State NC leading the charge for them. They’ve got Legion Collegiate Academy (2/8) and Victory Christian Center (2/10) on the schedule this week before their conference tournament.
